“My husband and myself have just returned from a 5 day break to Colchester. An excellent holiday from beginning to end. Luxury coach travel with informative and carefully planned excursions. The Holiday Inn hotel was of a very high standard. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Scott our driver was first class, professional and made the care and well being of his passengers his top priority. This was a lovely relaxing holiday and despite being out on trips every day there was no rush or early timed schedules, everything was done in a nice carefree way. I said that I needed to discuss with my husband and we agreed that he would ring back the next day. Scott asked a colleague to ring me to explain that he had been held up and would be ringing me very soon. How many companies actually ring back when they say they are going to. “Just arrived home after a week staying at the red Hall and feel I need to write a review as the service and hospitality was exceptional Especially clare on reception who never seems to leave and is always happy to help with a smile. The room was clean comfortable and spacious with great WiFi, I will be returning to Bury and the red hall again Oscars restaurant and chef are equally amazing fresh tasty well thought out food on the menu good size portions and reasonably priced Well done guys thanks for having me”

“Recently visited The Deanwater for a Business Meeting. A beautiful venue with plenty of space, lovely food and friendly staff. Plenty of space in the meeting suites, could of just done with access to a few more plugs for the laptops but on the whole would definitely return.”

“We had the most amazing bacon & egg butties this week. The service was excellent, the staff welcoming and the pub itself is clean and cosy. We took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and enjoyed the biscuits they gave her! Would highly recommend and will be visiting to try the Sunday lunch now!”

“Amazing place, perfect hidden gem in the heart of Manchester. The room was perfect, with vaulted ceilings, a king plus size bed, massive TV, and a Tea and resting area. The morning breakfast included was delicious as well. Elliott went out of his way to make our stay a remarkable one. I highly recommend staying here.”

“It's quiet and comfortable with excellent staff who do go the extra mile to take care of the customers. The rooms are a little dated but that is something that doesn't really bother me. The parking is easy and it's close to all local amenities so it's a good deal all round. I didn't get the chance to eat there but apparently it is very good food.”

“Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Reception staff are lovely and they offer room service. All of their food is delicious from the restaurant and when delivered to rooms. They have a hot tub as well as a pool (though they don't allow kids in it). Well cleaned, baths and showers are well maintained but you may need to ask for a fan in the summer as the windows don't open fully. Only thing to watch out for (especially for business travellers) is if you require wifi access for more than 1 hour, you have to pay extra.”

“Fantastic experience staff really friendly afternoon tea is gorgeous. Really recommend if you book through directly or through groupon voucher. Fresh sandwiches and scones were fantastic. Will be visiting here again the location is lovely and we sat in a little room off to the side and was overall great.”

“Excellent central location, that takes dogs and has parking underneath. Jack on reception made me feel so welcome, super friendly, attentive staff....really makes all the difference. Comfy bed, great kitchen, bathroom and lounge area. Worth spending a few quid more to get an apartment like this rather than just a hotel room....I shall deffo be back!”

“We enjoyed our short stay here, clean comfortable family room, beds were comfy and we all had a good nights sleep before our departure to Turkey. It is in a very convenient location for Manchester Airport! The breakfast & evening meals I couldn’t fault, food was delicious. I would certainly recommend to stay here and I will be booking again soon. Five massive stars from me!”

“A great pub. One of the friendliest pubs in Swinton. Lindsey is a wonderful land lady and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is happy and has a good time. Lots of events going on games nights, karaoke, dancing. I always look forward to a night in there.”

“My daughters wedding was fantastic, right from A.J. picking us up in the white Rolls from the local village. The venue is fabulous the food was excellent, A.J. & family & all their staff went out off their way to make the day perfect. To round the day off we stayed in one of their beautiful rooms overnight followed by a fantastic breakfast. Not one guest had anything bad to say about the day, i would recommend this place to anyone.”

“This is a very well located pub/hotel for visiting Glossop main street and the surrounding countryside. The room was a good size, recently decorated, with a good bathroom. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good. Breakfast was also available from 9.00am. The room and the food were very reasonably priced. Very nice helpful staff which made for an enjoyable stay.”

“We stayed in this hotel for one night, we got their about 11am wanted to leave our luggage there and go to Trafford centre. The helpful women on reception said she can allocate us a room already which was great. The room was clean, plenty of room for the night, modern, everything you need. We used the facilities at night swimming sauna rooms and hot tub, they was all lovely and clean, felt like it was really worth the money We paid. Surprised it’s only a 3 star could easily pass for a 4 star. Everyone is helpful n friendly. Had food at night and drinks average price for a hotel and nice food. Had football on the tv. No noise during the night. Breakfast was lovely, possibly the best buffet breakfast I’ve had at a hotel, nice and clean. Food was fresh and warm. Lots of selection of food n drinks. Staff shown us around as it was our first time. Never too busy in the breakfast room either. Overall nice stay, would definitely come again. Thankyou”

“Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”
