“A superb property to stay short term in. Great attention to detail and the finish is fantastic. We stayed in the Bridgewater suite and for 4 of us to stay in a large self contained apartment it was cheaper per person than any other local hotel with anything like the comfort and style and far more spacious.”

“Spent a weekend at the Gardens Hotel. The hotel is centrally located, close to tram stops, the railway station and the main shopping areas. There are three good museums within 20 minutes of the hotel as well as plenty of places to eat! The hotel itself was great - the room (117) was spacious and clean, with a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and very good shower. The cooked breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. On our final day we were allowed to store our luggage there while we spent our final day in Manchester. Only negative point is that there is a pub and a nightclub behind the hotel that can get noisy! But despite that, I would happily come back to stay here and can definitely recommend this hotel!”

“I found Stacy and South Manchester Lettings through using Bark. I was provided with a number of contacts and possibilities to let out my home as a rental after moving in with my partner. Stacy was not actually the first person I communicated with, but I was let down by that contact and I am so glad I was! Stacy has been great right from the very beginning. Always great at responding to all queries, honest, informative, helpful, and will give you all the time you need - which in my case has been quite a lot due to being a first-time landlord! I even offered her additional commission based on the service I had received but she flat out refused - I don't think I need to say any more than that to fully demonstrate her integrity. I would absolutely recommend her wholeheartedly and hope her business continues to grow as it fully deserves to for all the hard work she puts in! I am unlikely to let out any more properties myself but if I did, or knew anyone close to me that was, I would look no further. 100%.”

“Both myself and my son use this garage for our (tuned) cars. If you are expecting a shiny chrome type garage you may be disappointed. This is a traditional type garage where they first attempt to mend things as opposed to just fitting new parts. Local trade uses them a lot so that says something about their reputation. A decent place.”

“We stayed here on recommendation from a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We were staying in the area due to visiting a friends wedding and we wanted to make the most of our trip up north. Everything about Didsbury is done with so much care and attention. The room was incredibly comfortable, with a large bed, roll top bath and rainfall shower. We also ordered room service while we were there as we were just too tired to eat in the restaurant. The quality and taste of the food was exceptional. The room service is also free which makes life so much easier. Especially when you’re travelling for a busy event or weekend and you don’t want the hassle of dressing up for dinner. There are only a few things I would change if I was being really picky. The TV only has Sky, which was annoying as we don’t like Sky due to the amount of constant adverts. Many places we stay in now has Netflix which is just so much better. The mini bar was also pretty basic stuff but for a high cost. For example Mars Bar for £2. Some of the hotels we’ve stayed in now fill the mini bars with more local produce and it’s free of charge which we think is a better touch. The staff on the day of our arrival did seem a bit flustered as they had a wedding on at the venue (not the one we were attending). So at times it did feel like we were either inconveniencing them or they were rushing. Totally understandable but perhaps recommend they have someone manning the reception at all times. However overall we had an incredible experience and will definitely stay again.”

“It's quiet and comfortable with excellent staff who do go the extra mile to take care of the customers. The rooms are a little dated but that is something that doesn't really bother me. The parking is easy and it's close to all local amenities so it's a good deal all round. I didn't get the chance to eat there but apparently it is very good food.”

“We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem.”

“Brilliant for stopping over if your at the airport early in the morning as they offer a short shuttle ride to your terminal at no extra charge. Never had breakfast there because of early flights. Rooms are a good size and the bed we stayed in was mega comfy.”
