“Amazing place, perfect hidden gem in the heart of Manchester. The room was perfect, with vaulted ceilings, a king plus size bed, massive TV, and a Tea and resting area. The morning breakfast included was delicious as well. Elliott went out of his way to make our stay a remarkable one. I highly recommend staying here.”

“We went to see an AMAZING jazz trio at the Moor Club last night, they were simply on fire. They play every other Wednesday and I would highly recommend you pop along. Even if jazz isn't your thing, the live music and atmosphere is wonderful. The trio is headed up by Maxton Beesley, its brilliant. The room would be great for a party, it has a bar and dance floor and plenty of seating.”

“If you feel like reminding your taste buds how a great dinner taste like, you should definitely come here. The menu is an explosion of flavors and I enjoyed every single bit. The mélange of ingredients is astonishing. Great selection of wines, including a Sicilian Grillo which I enjoyed a lot. The service is punctual and polite ( I was helped by Rafael) and the bill surprisingly fair! I will come again whenever I can.”

“We enjoyed our short stay here, clean comfortable family room, beds were comfy and we all had a good nights sleep before our departure to Turkey. It is in a very convenient location for Manchester Airport! The breakfast & evening meals I couldn’t fault, food was delicious. I would certainly recommend to stay here and I will be booking again soon. Five massive stars from me!”

“Went for tapas with a group of work friends and was not left disappointed! They put a tapas buffet on for us which included starters of salami, Spanish ham, olives, pitta, sundried tomatoes and salsa, followed by gambas pil pil, chorizo, patatas bravas, Meatballs and two types of chicken and garlic bread! Food was absolutely spot on and they accommodated a lady who had a gluten intolerance, she was well impressed! Only thing I'm upset about is not taking a pic!”

“A great pub. One of the friendliest pubs in Swinton. Lindsey is a wonderful land lady and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is happy and has a good time. Lots of events going on games nights, karaoke, dancing. I always look forward to a night in there.”

“My daughters wedding was fantastic, right from A.J. picking us up in the white Rolls from the local village. The venue is fabulous the food was excellent, A.J. & family & all their staff went out off their way to make the day perfect. To round the day off we stayed in one of their beautiful rooms overnight followed by a fantastic breakfast. Not one guest had anything bad to say about the day, i would recommend this place to anyone.”

“This is a very well located pub/hotel for visiting Glossop main street and the surrounding countryside. The room was a good size, recently decorated, with a good bathroom. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good. Breakfast was also available from 9.00am. The room and the food were very reasonably priced. Very nice helpful staff which made for an enjoyable stay.”

“We stayed in this hotel for one night, we got their about 11am wanted to leave our luggage there and go to Trafford centre. The helpful women on reception said she can allocate us a room already which was great. The room was clean, plenty of room for the night, modern, everything you need. We used the facilities at night swimming sauna rooms and hot tub, they was all lovely and clean, felt like it was really worth the money We paid. Surprised it’s only a 3 star could easily pass for a 4 star. Everyone is helpful n friendly. Had food at night and drinks average price for a hotel and nice food. Had football on the tv. No noise during the night. Breakfast was lovely, possibly the best buffet breakfast I’ve had at a hotel, nice and clean. Food was fresh and warm. Lots of selection of food n drinks. Staff shown us around as it was our first time. Never too busy in the breakfast room either. Overall nice stay, would definitely come again. Thankyou”

“Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

“Beautiful setting and lovely spa! We’ve booked a Black Friday deal a couple of times and it’s been wonderful. I’ve also been on a hen weekend. The food is amazing and the facilities are great. Lots to do and see in the grounds. The spa is well equipped and the outdoor hydro pool is just incredible.”

“Stopped off here for a quick drink and to watch the cyclist for IronMan going past with a group of friends. As we were waiting at the bar to be served the food coming out of the kitchen smelt great so we asked the girls on the bar for a quick look at the menu. The staff were brilliant, we asked them if they could stick the F1 on for us and they did straight away. We were indecisive as to whether to order food or not but one of the girls talked us round, we had a laugh and a bit of banter with her. The food arrived promptly & was homely, freshly cooked & tasty pub grub, all for a reasonable price. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch & the Cheese & Onion Pie. Looking forward to our next visit already.”

“We stopped off here on the way home for food. They was amazing and very accommodating to us and our children. Our two kids are not the quietest but they was amazing here. They was given a little colour sheet and crayons. The food was amazing and very filling. The prices for us all to have starters, mains and desserts with a drink came under £100 which I thought was amazing!. Definitely want to return here but just with my husband.”

“One of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. I have been many times, the atmosphere is superb, service is great and the food is fantastic! The Lobster Thermidor and the Lobster Linguine were fantastic. They have a really nice bar area too! We stay at The Lowery Hotel which is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. Always book in advance.”
