Baity Palestinian Kitchen
● Closed743 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6RN, United Kingdom“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”

Yara Restaurant
● Closed“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

Premier Inn Manchester (Handforth) hotel
● Open“Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn, with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.”

Slemani Restaurant Manchester
● Closed100 Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, Manchester M14 5AJ, United Kingdom“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

Kept calling me brother and called my wife sister which was really nice of him ..... the guy got the dish out from the kitchen ! Just to show me ! That’s some serious stuff. Really kind.
