“I was having a meal at the Alderley Edge restaurant on Sunday Nov.7th which was my family treat to celebrate my 80th birthday on Tuesday Nov.9th. I have never felt so important, the staff were really attentive , the food was delicious and to top it off Irfan ( I think that was his name) dimmed the lights, played "happy birthday " music and brought me a delicious portion of Honey and Almond cake, enough for the four of us with a candle on it , courtesy of the management. What a lovely gesture! Top Class !!”

“The quality has gone a little down as the chicken was too dry and somewhat different taste too. Not sure the spices have changed. The Kobeda was like always bang on. The prices have been raised and assuming that everything else has also done the same.”

“We stayed in this hotel for one night, we got their about 11am wanted to leave our luggage there and go to Trafford centre. The helpful women on reception said she can allocate us a room already which was great. The room was clean, plenty of room for the night, modern, everything you need. We used the facilities at night swimming sauna rooms and hot tub, they was all lovely and clean, felt like it was really worth the money We paid. Surprised it’s only a 3 star could easily pass for a 4 star. Everyone is helpful n friendly. Had food at night and drinks average price for a hotel and nice food. Had football on the tv. No noise during the night. Breakfast was lovely, possibly the best buffet breakfast I’ve had at a hotel, nice and clean. Food was fresh and warm. Lots of selection of food n drinks. Staff shown us around as it was our first time. Never too busy in the breakfast room either. Overall nice stay, would definitely come again. Thankyou”

“Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

“Service and staff were fantastic. The food was really nice at dinner time..Breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared and really good quality/ value. The rooms albeit a little small were warm and very clean. Piping hot water for the showers, very comfy bed and quiet .. can't fault it will be back”

“As a veteran of eating in Indian restaurants I have to say Dilshad is a great discovery. Elaborate menu with so many dishes I’ve never seen before (which is really unusual). I’m slowly working my way through them when I’m in Manchester and it feels being 18 again trying things for the first time! “Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn,with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.”
