“We ordered from the Valentine's set menu and it was great. Chipotle chicken to start with, followed by sirloin steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The food was lovely. Ordered my steak medium well and it came more on the medium side but it was rectified. The strawberry twist drink is a must for the non drinkers! Our waitress was superb. She was attentive, polite, engaged in conversation with us and overall amazing at her job. This is why we return to Wilmslow.”

“I had heard from family that this place was the place to go for a curry. I came in with pretty high expectations. Those expectations were easily exceeded. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, the hello upon arrival and the smiling friendly service was fantastic. The food was of high quality and the price considering the quality of food is very reasonable. Our waiter Amin is a credit to the restaurant, 10/10 service. We will see you again soon.”

“Had an excellent stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly even though I checked in in the middle of the night. Room was large and comfortable. Free parking was available as well as a free electric car charger which was a bonus. Overall would definitely recommend and will return in the future.”

“My daughter Lucy had her sixteenth birthday party at Wilmslow Kitchen Cookery School last weekend. It was fantastic! Sarah and her team kept everyone totally involved and all left with an impressive showstopper cake and salted caramel eclairs. “A family-run place where you can expect to find excellent great quality of products, beautiful chef's touches on the plates served and a warm welcome. I went for dinner and had the gyros platter which was incredible! Have not had that quality of meat since I was back in Greece so full stars for this. They also have a quaint but excellently crafted coctail selection. I went for an amaretto sour which was spot on. Definitely check it out when around Handforth or in Wilsmlow as it is quite close. Will try the breakfast next and report back!”

“We made booking first time with Gey me to the Alps. So far the process was very good. One of assistant was looking after our queries. She always responded with the update, follow ups. “Located in Didsbury Village opposite the library so easy parking located all around. Great atmosphere, they have an Industrial theme going on with naked ply board and concrete walls, exposed ducts and pipes. Food wise we ordered: Garlic bread Burata Pizza calzone - spicy Pizza specials- white pizza Food service was fast and we got what we ordered We were seated super fast as a walk in with no reservation just before 6pm on a Sunday.”

“This was a random stop to try the pizza since I was in the area. Every Italian shall be judged by their Margherita pizza and they passed very well, wood fired pizza done in less than 5 minutes like the waiter claimed. Tasted very fresh and the size was 12" so good value for the money. The crust of the bread or dough was not so airy but didn't taste chewy either. See photos attached.”

“Probably the best place for a casual yet very tasty dinner in Manchester. We tried chicken gyros and bifteki ( greek burger) . Everything was excellent. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the meet is exceptional but the price is very reasonable making it the best value for money . I suggest you ask for a special greek white wine called retsina ( wine with pine tree extract ). Finally there are nice deserts like homemade baklava and cheesecake.”

“We visited Jafra last week after walking past it several times. Menu is easy with many options. We had the 5-item Mezze which came with warm bread. This was amazing as a starter and we kept this as a side whilst having mains. For main, we had the Mixed Grill- nice and tender meat. We also tried Manakeesh which is a Palestinian bakery item. We haven't tried anything similar before, taste was a bit overpowering but it was a new experience nevertheless. The atmosphere inside was great, expect local Palestinian music. Service was great start to finish. Food didn't take long to arrive. I would highly recommend Jafra, and I'd go back again.”

“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”

“Popped in here yesterday, Saturday. Busy. I chose the veggie pizza with my favourite veg, aubergene. It was, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, CRISP AND DELICIOUS. THE NICEST PIZZA EVER tasted in my life, and I'm 56! Recommend to book. Staff really really friendly n nice.”

“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”
