The Brewery Tap
● Closed“What a great traditional pub, we went on poetry night in aid of parkinsons finished off with live music, great choice of beers and very friendly atmosphere, brilliant night”
-
The Grocers Micro Pub
● Closed152A Liverpool Road, Cadishead, Manchester M44 5DD, United Kingdom“This is what a pub should be. Great Ale served at the table, great conversation where everyone joins in, no muzak, no telly, no slots, no lager louts And its now changed, there inverted mushrooms on the ceiling to dampen the non existing sound that reaches the ears of the idiot upstairs.”

Majestic Wine
● Closed“Massive selection of interesting drinks you won't find in an average supermarket. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're planning an event like a birthday or wedding as the prices for bulk buys are great.”

Tiny's Tipple
● Closed510 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9AW, United Kingdom“Great beer, spirit and wine shop run by 2 very helpful guys. I haven't sampled their wines yet, but the beer choice out back is brilliant. World craft beers from each corner of the globe as well as local ale choices. I'll be asking them for some advice on wine soon and I'm sure they'll give me some good tips. I probably go here a lot more than I should.”

Royal Mills
● OpenRedhill Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6JG, United Kingdom“The epitome of New York style loft apartment living but right in the middle of Manchester. You are in the middle of a noisy city yet at night it's so quiet you'd think you were alone in the veritable middle-of-nowhere, probably something to do with the thick 19th century walls. An amazing glass house structure covers the whole of the centre of the quad and coffee drinkers can be often seen imbibing in this area. The building is grade II listed, which means the outside character and look has to be maintained. 24hr concierge and security along with hot water and heating included in the service charge really do make this one of the most desirable residences in central Manchester.”

● Open46 School Lane, Sale M33 7XE, United Kingdom“We hired the upstairs room for a get together with friends. We had a fantastic time! The guys working there were friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our time with them a great one. The Sunday roast was amazing! They put the menu together for us as they normally only do Brunch menu. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Dom, Joe and team.”

The Bank Delph
● Closed“My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!”

I was pleasantly surprised, quaint courtyard with secluded spots you wouldn’t know you we’re next to a road. For food we tried all of the small dishes (tapas style) super tasty and enough to share. Engaging staff and a quirky interior see for a perfect visit. We will be returning soon”

Pagliacci Restaurant
● Closed“Lived in the area for over a year and finally visited the restaurant on Friday evening. It was fantastic. We got the 3 course deal which I think was around £22 ( £18 for 2 course). Fantastic food and the service was brilliant. Very warm and attentive staff and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice high ceilings. Lobster bisque ravioli was 10/10 and the pavlova for dessert was the best I've ever had. We walked out with high praise and can't wait to return.”

SUD Pasta Ancoats
● Closed“Sugo was recommended to me as a must eat when visiting Manchester and it did not disappoint. All of the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I’d really recommend the Cavatelli ‘verdure’ for main and the burrata. The restaurant was really busy, and had a good atmosphere and prices were really affordable given the quality of the food. Would book again next time I’m here!”

Baity Palestinian Kitchen
● Closed743 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6RN, United Kingdom“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”

Two Birds & One Stone
● Closed14 Radcliffe New Road, Whitefield, Manchester M45 7GY, United Kingdom“A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. Decent value for money.”

Harvey Leonard's Wine & Ale
● Closed“Well, where do I start. It’s great here. Great but… Just a few negatives. Or development points - Only 1 free pint. Pitiful. - my drinking partner made me hurry my drink. I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe Other than that a really pleasant experience. The right amount of gas and stemmed beer glasses too. 6 out of 5 for me.”
