The Diggle Hotel
“You won't find a warmer welcome than at The Diggle Hotel. Wonderful friendly team and the food was the best 'pub grub' I've ever had. Beautifully home cooked and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this wonderful place whether you need a friendly pint, delicious food or a charming hotel.”
The Moorcock Inn
“Very nice food. Veggies catered for - we had the cheese & onion pie and a vegan cottage pie. Lovely. Dog friendly too, which the White House up the road isn't”
Players Cheetham Hill
“Food was so delicious and fresh! Staff were very friendly and food was ready very quick. Look forward to coming again! Definitely recommend”
Tatton Arms, Moss Nook
“Had a meal there today. Food was superb. Nicest meal all year. The pubs been done up, it looks very nice. But it does look like any other generic pub, it has lost a lot of character, although decor and food was nice.”
The Clarkes Arms
“Looking for a place to enjoy the night with good people then this is the place. Free pool on Wednesday for those who enjoy a good game with a pint. They also have a team who have won a lot of trophies as well as the darts girls so well done for that. They have karaoke all weekend and then karaoke competition on a Monday which is fun but also you get to see Hyde for some of its good talent. Not often a place for trouble and any time there is any then it's dealt with immediately to allow the good people to enjoy their night. Also run by a brilliant landlord and landlady who are friendly to everyone and join in with the fun.”
The Olde Boars Head
“Warm and welcoming, plenty of space to move around with plenty of seating. Staff are attentive, kind and helpful. The food was delicious -cooked perfectly to my liking and the portion sizes were decent too. I Highly recommend.”
The Midland
“Midland is one of the good pubs in Stockport and can't fault Mark the landlord for being welcoming”

“This pub is a home from home. I could walk in on my own or with my partner & children and the warm reception from the exceptional staff is what makes the place my absolute fav. Can’t fault it.”
The Nags Head
“Very friendly staff - manager let me use the toilet when in need despite it being a ticketed event - cannot thank him enough”
Daisyfield Inn Oldham
“Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.”
Lower Turks Head
“A great place to sit down and have a drink, staff are very friendly and the bar has a good atmosphere. Additionally since the pub is located close to the bus station, this is a nice place to wait for your bus to arrive.”
Saddlers Arms
“Quaint village pub, friendly atmosphere, good selection of real ales and ciders, have been here many times”
Saracens Head
“We were ALMOST put off by the recent reviews... but decided to go anyway and I'm so glad we did. They are very upfront about the limited menu, and new staff still being in training. We ordered 14 meals, with a few extra sides/starters and everything came out together, well presented, hot and in reasonable time. I had the "Seasoned Bird" chicken burger, it was great! We then went in the soft play for an hour or so, the kids (4, 6 & 7) loved it! Could have maybe done with an extra member of staff in the attached cafe, the lady running it was lovely, she signs everyone in, takes your orders and prepares the hot drinks... she will sleep well tonight! Recent reviews make it clear they've had their fair share of teething problems... but don't let that stop you from going!”
Stanley Arms
“Great little pub, with a smashing old interior. A wonderful pint of mild and a pretty good bitter to boot.”
La Fardy, the new sun inn
“Great pub, great staff, great beer at good prices friendly atmosphere well worth the 5 stars”
The Oast House Bar & Restaurant
“Good outside sitting area. Delicious food. No great beer options (and most were off). Bit expensive.”

“Nice pub local Manchester ale, Joseph Holt. Barry and Pauline are your host pleasant barstaff, only hot pie's and crisp etc food wise hundred yards from Newton Heath and Moston tram from Manchester or Rochdale Oldham centres Ideal for FC.United matches”
Ape and Apple
“Brilliant in the middle of Manchester place for food and drink options, with buses and Metrolink just around on the next streets along. Good range of things to have at the bar and a good menu choices available at any time of day that they are open.”
MR THOMAS'S CHOP HOUSE
“We went for the Sunday roast. The quality and quantity of the food was very good. While waiting for the mains we tried the whitebait and chilli chipolatas and they were amazing, indeed I think I'll be popping in for these starters and a beer more often. The service was also friendly, relaxed and professional.”
The Spring Gardens Beer Emporium and Eatery
“What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times, the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”
The Swan & Cemetery
“Never had a bad meal and is usually the first choice "go to" when family are visiting. Lots of choices and always immaculately prepared. Staff have always been friendly and professional. Can sometimes get quite loud in the restaurant due to the hard surfaces reflecting the noise which is the only negative. Can always eat in the bar area where softer furnishings mute things a little better but don't let this put you off. Sunday dinners the best for miles!”
George and Dragon Charlesworth
“Lovely little pub, visited with friends and the dogs and was made very welcome. All had a hot lunch and was also very good, hope to be back soon.”
Town Hall Tavern
“I find this place relaxing great staff good live music on Sunday. It just makes a difference in Oldham as this town is short of good places”
The Jolly Hatters Inn
“I have not been in the Jolly Hatters for years. As the Jolly is so close to our home and it was my husband's birthday we thought we would give it a go. It was a lovely evening.... full of old neighbours we had not seen in ages. The Pub was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Tuesday night was a quiz night which we were unaware of, however we were invited to take part. We will be visiting again very soon.”
The Queens Arms Audenshaw
“Went for a Carvery on Sunday and it was good. Choice of well cooked meats and a plethora of vegetables - Carrot & Swede, Cauliflower Cheese, Roast Parsnips. Lovely gravy, ice cold beer on tap and friendly staff. Awesome”
