“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”

“Having had a previous bad experience here we gave it another chance. So pleased we did got the lunch specials 2 eggs 3,sausage chips and beans, and fish and chips the fish was about a good size well cooked and batter crisp had caramel apple Betty and custard and chocolate brownie for dessert with unlimited soft drinks bill was just over £20 excluding tips service was great. Cheaper than a takeaway and no washing up.”

“We certainly enjoyed our visit to sparking clog We visit numerous times during each year because the food is excellent and we each of our family have had various things off your varied menu and it's always been well cooked and descent servings. The staff are excellent too they are friendly and helpful always ask if all is right with our meal good service all round. I have recommended it to other people as a really nice place and great food .Also it is always lovely and clean. With fast service to clear the tables as people leave.this”

“Had a fantastic night. Was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but our experience was brilliant. 19 of us on a hen party. Had booked a drinks package (through Hangover Weekends). Really good value for money drinks kept flowing Prosecco, shots, 2 bottles of spirits and mixers. We had more than enough and couldn’t drink all of it. One of our hens was pregnant and Jordan who served us made sure she was included making mocktails and bringing a shot of orange over. Had own area which was fantastic and the bouncer where really friendly and we felt really safe. Bar staff a crazy bunch which added to the atmosphere and made the evening special even setting the bar on fire at one point. Would recommend”

It was really quite so I could understand I might not get this service when it's busy but my experience was brilliant and I'll definitely be coming back! “I had such an amazing experience! The girls are extremely friendly and know how to hold a conversation. As it was my first time and because I am female, I was inevitably nervous; however, the girls managed to talk away my nerves. The dances are reasonably priced - as it is a Gentlemen's Club, therefore I anticipated no less. I enjoyed numerous drinks and dances with a variety of dancers and overall had the time of my life! I would definitely recommend going there as I am planning to go back again myself!”

“came last night for a meal with friend. 10 of us had carvery which was fresh and meats were cooked perfectly. 5 of us had the normal menu a mixture of steak dishes and chicken all came out hot and fresh steaks cooked perfectly to what we asked for. The pub has really changed since we last visited much nicer inside. The staff were great and really helpful and friendly thank you for our great girls night out.”
