"We certainly enjoyed our visit to sparking clog We visit numerous times during each year because the food is excellent and we each of our family have had various things off your varied menu and it's always been well cooked and descent servings. The staff are excellent too they are friendly and helpful always ask if all is right with our meal good service all round. I have recommended it to other people as a really nice place and great food .Also it is always lovely and clean. With fast service to clear the tables as people leave.this"

"We came for a meal with some friends, the food was much better than one would expect from a pub like this, the atmosphere was great and the staff were spot on. Service was super fast too. The meals were delicious. Hot and fresh, well cooked and top quality ingredients and all for a very reasonable price!"

"I've visited a few times and been very pleased, but on the last occasion, though the food was of high quality as usual, it wasn't hot, and actually cold in parts. We also had over 90 minutes wait, which, considering it was Boxing Day and it was pre-book only, was unsatisfactory. There was also an issue on the website, which meant we were not informed at the time of booking that we needed to order our menus in advance. Consequently, we were very limited in our choice of food."

"Only there for a short visit for an event, so only purchased one drink and no food. Pub was a good size with zoned areas, clean and tidy, and the barman was efficient and friendly. My daughter uses occasionally as she lives nearby and on a recent visit she left her handbag behind. Pleased to say that staff confirmed they had it the next day with everything intact. Deserves a big thank you!"
