Was only planning on staying for one pint but the 'oirish.. Craic...' was so wonderful that we ended up staying for four pints each.. Shame no real ale but neck oil beer very tasty.. “Only my second visit which seems daft as this is a cracking pub and a mecca for real ale drinkers. It is only a few minutes walk over the Irwell into Salford. The beer selection did not disappoint. I had a lovely pint of Wigan Brewhouse Soul Train. Really friendly pub on a lovely little square.”

“We decided to take a chance & come here for a bite to eat before we were going to the Theatre. We were tempted in by their 50% off food during January. Best decision of the night, we will definitely be going back here. It is a big place and when we got there at 5pm, there were plenty of tables. 2 hours later, it was busy. All the staff are amazing, especially Thomas & Monica. We had the ribs, Beef brisket sandwich and the Big burger. I also had one of the cocktails too. The service is fantastic, friendly & quick. The food and drink was delicious. As we were celebrating a special occasion, Thomas, Monica and the others made sure that it was extra special and a night to remember. I was bowled over by their kindness. It is a place were I will definitely go for food when I'm in town again. I have a feeling that it is also going to be a favourite for my 22 year old son, girlfriend & friends to go for drinks too as it is especially appealing to their age group too.”

“Incredible Food We took a gamble by travelling 26 miles after one of the lads watched a TikTok review of this restaurant. We were cautious upon arrival as the venue was empty so much so we ventured to a nearby restaurant and were told we should expect an almost 2 hour wait. Reluctantly We returned to this restaurant and were at this time the only ones in there, however we could see telephone orders being taken out by their delivery lad. After placing the order, starters and mains we waited a little while longer than what were normally used to but spotted the sign on the wall advising us that the food was being prepared in a coal oven grill explaining slightly longer cooking times. Staff were courteous snd smily throughout our visit. The food when delivered was without exception ‘amazing’ in a word, I’ll say it again AMAZING. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted quality. It’s rare that all of us would ever agree on the quality of food we ate but it was unanimously agreed that this was a great choice. Everything cooked just perfect, fresh and full of flavour. Whilst we was eating two other groups arrived which filled the atmosphere. I’m completely oblivious to why more people were not eating here. So much so asked the staff, they asked that I review the venue and here I am. We ordered, for starters the Halloumi, Cheesy Nachos and garlic prawns. For the main, two combo fillet meals boxes , a chicken burger, a ghost burger with cheesy chips … there was a little left over at the end however that was because the 4.5 of us were stuffed. Guys, I strongly recommend this place as a must go to if you like quality food at a good price. Thank you to the staff, both at the front and the back. We will be back. “Had such a wonderful time experience Sunday afternoon. I had the roast Turkey and my husband the roast beef! The food was absolutely stunning, so tasted and meat melted in my mouth ! The atmosphere was vibrant and cosy and the staff were so attentive! Honestly nothing ! Was too much trouble for the well trained, polite and attentive staff! We have travelled a lot lately and have missed this level of service and kindness, they even nipped next door to their cocktail bar to provide special drinks requests! Thank you so much”

“I went for the first time last night with my wife, we had been meaning to go for a while and were not disappointed. The manager chatted to use for a while and made us feel very welcome so thank you (sorry I didn’t catch your name). My wife had a couple of cocktails which she enjoyed very much and I sampled a German lager I had never heard of but it was spot on. The place is very well presented and perfect for those who want somewhere a bit extra for a drink, next time we will try the food as the menu looked great. Nice to see a great building being put back into a good use. EDIT: We have just been back and tried the food. As you can see I review the odd place here and there but this was up there in my top 5 meals ever bought. It was tremendous from start to finish, I eat until I could eat no more. Staff were brilliant once again and service was excellent. Thank you all so much.”

“Nell’s is tremendous. The design and fit out are a real step up, and the ethos comes through in spades, plus it’s a fun space to spend time in. All the slices we tried were great, crispy base, plenty of olive oil and top class toppings. Draught beers cover all your modish crafty requirements and the rest of the drinks menu is well put together. Staff were super friendly to us. I hope it settles into Kampus and it deserves to be a popular fixture in the city”

“I arranged a surprise birthday get together for my husband’s birthday on 23rd October. Lauren was fantastic in helping me organise this & sectioned off the room behind the bar for family & friends. I ordered sandwiches for everyone who attended. They were delicious & everyone enjoyed them. All our family & friends agreed that the Norfolk Arms is a great pub, with great staff & a great atmosphere. Thanks for making the surprise party really special! Highly recommend!”
