Turtle Bay Salford Quays
“Great place, lovely menu options. Food was fantastic, amazing flavours. Would definitely recommend.”
Embankment Kitchen Restaurant & Bar
“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”
The Botanist Bar & Restaurant Media City
“Great food, great atmosphere, awesome vibe. What's not to like? The food here is delicious. Book in advance so you don't get disappointed as its quite busy.”
The Oast House Bar & Restaurant
“Good outside sitting area. Delicious food. No great beer options (and most were off). Bit expensive.”
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”
Bella Italia - Salford Quays
“5 star rating. Good location. Great food. Amazing service specially Mr Andy who went out of the way to make our dining experience memorable. Kudos to entire team.”
The Stoller Hall
“I've been to many concerts in many countries and this is one of the best halls acoustically that I've encountered. Only let down, slightly, but their choice of microphones. I look forward to seeing many more shows here.”
The White Hotel
“One of my favourite venues! :-) has so much personality, and any gig or event I’ve attended here has been excellent. The staff are friendly and the decor and atmosphere are wonderfully idiosyncratic.”
Neon Tiger
“Absolute gem! Cosy dining at the back Fantastic bar at the front Cocktails and drink selections are brilliant and the food is to die for! Cant wait to come back”
cask
“Best pub in Manchester, superb selection of beer, nice beer garden, and you can bring food in from the chip shop next door”
Union Tavern
“The location doesn't bode well but inside the beers is well kept, the place clean and tidy. Staff nice too.”
The New Oxford
“Only my second visit which seems daft as this is a cracking pub and a mecca for real ale drinkers. It is only a few minutes walk over the Irwell into Salford. The beer selection did not disappoint. I had a lovely pint of Wigan Brewhouse Soul Train. Really friendly pub on a lovely little square.”
Eagle Inn
“Nice traditional pub. Great for a beer or two. Didn't try the food”
The Palantine Public House
“A lovely traditional Pub, very welcoming, great music, and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back.”
The Blues Kitchen
“We decided to take a chance & come here for a bite to eat before we were going to the Theatre. We were tempted in by their 50% off food during January. Best decision of the night, we will definitely be going back here. It is a big place and when we got there at 5pm, there were plenty of tables. 2 hours later, it was busy. All the staff are amazing, especially Thomas & Monica. We had the ribs, Beef brisket sandwich and the Big burger. I also had one of the cocktails too. The service is fantastic, friendly & quick. The food and drink was delicious. As we were celebrating a special occasion, Thomas, Monica and the others made sure that it was extra special and a night to remember. I was bowled over by their kindness. It is a place were I will definitely go for food when I'm in town again. I have a feeling that it is also going to be a favourite for my 22 year old son, girlfriend & friends to go for drinks too as it is especially appealing to their age group too.”
The Kings Arms
“Great traditional pub with a good range of drinks. Friendly staff & a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit for a couple beers. I've not been in while the live music has been on but can imagine this would be a brilliant venue. I will be calling in again very soon.”
The Black Friar
“What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you!”
The Gas Lamp
“A favourite of ours since moving to Manchester. Friendly staff, chilled vibe and great selection of beers in an authentic, vintage environment. It's a hidden gem, down some stairs in a basement and stands out from the usual garish, chain or flashy cocktail bars of Spinningfields.”
Dover Inn
“Cracking little pub with a warm welcome and bar price's that are spot on.Highly recommend.”
Sadler's Cat
“Amazing new place. Must visit. Huge outdoor area, amazing beer selection, natural wine, vinyl DJs.”
The Liquor Store
“Hidden gem, fantastic place, fantastic service and fabulous cocktails. If the cocktail wasn't on the menu they made it for you too. What more could you ask for......”
The Crunch
“My personal favourite. Wonderful staff serving with delicious food. My favourite is burger and fries... I recommend all friends to have them...”
Australasia
“Had a great evening here with a large group of colleagues. The restaurant was very accommodating of our large group (30 people) and we had a great evening here. The 4 course meal was a lot of fun and it was the perfect amount of food. I would absolutely recommend this place for dinner dates and corporate events.”
Cafe Istanbul
“I had delicious meals in this restaurant. Lovely and decorated with comfortable seats. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect for family or friends gatherings. Reasonable prices with credit card payments option. I enjoyed my meal in this place. Enjoy the musician in the background. Meat has many options and all are delicious. I will visit again!”
Black Sheep Coffee & Cocktails
“Nice atmosphere, good coffee and cake. Soft caramel on the millionaires shortbread (and a good layer of chocolate). My partner enjoys the turmeric latte here too.”
Mulligans
“Easily the best pint of Guinness in England. I always recommend this place to friends who visit manchester. As a fellow publican I'd love to know their secret on how the Guinness is so creamy and perfect.”
Crown & Anchor
“The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.”
Bem Brasil Deansgate
“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”
