"I've been to many concerts in many countries and this is one of the best halls acoustically that I've encountered. Only let down, slightly, but their choice of microphones. I look forward to seeing many more shows here."

"Lovely little concert hall belonging to Chetham Music School. It is directly across from Victoria train station. Surprisingly small number of seating but has adequate performance area. Acoustics were good. Hall was warm and staff were very friendly. Prices for performances were very reasonable, much cheaper than other concert halls in Manchester. Do not use the Music School entrance, follow the path from school entrance towards train station then turn left and follow the building round to the hall entrance."

"First time I've been here, what a fantastic venue for live music, brilliant acoustics, better than that place next door (AO Arena). The staff are friendly and helpful, what a delight."

"An absolutely delightful venue, beautifully spacious, very comfortable seating and the acoustics are amazing. We just went to hear Steven Osbourne and the Northern Chamber Orchestra playing some of Beethoven's works are it was a joy for the ears and senses. We absolutely loved the performance and venue and are looking forward to returning soon."
