“Bought my persian cat Toby here today for the first time and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Toby had a bad experience previously at a different groomers which left him quite traumatised and extremely reluctant to be groomed, the girls at Sammy's did such an amazing job and were so calming even though he was very agitated and snappy (Toby's sorry)! I'm so glad I've found Sammy's and have already booked him in for his next pamper session. Highly recommend this place; the shop is so clean and smells divine! The prices are amazing aswell! “Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

“Took my family here over Christmas. 8 of us had a fantastic meal, great atmosphere, with pleasant and helpful staff. From the papadoms which were crisp and greasy to the starters (Lamb Chops) were perfection to the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi it was an awesome meal. Bottle of wine was given as a regular customer. Highly recommend this as a local Indian restaurant. Go and try it today, you will not be disappointed.”

“We have been with White Cross Vets in Walkden years now, they were amazing when my cat got attacked the vet actually drove us in his own car to the animal hospital as she needed to be admitted. Unfortunately she passed away at the hospital and someone from White Cross rang me a couple of days later to say sorry and they sent us a card. I had a 15 year old dog called Benson which I adopted when he was 11, they were outstanding with him from the minute I got him. When I had to have him PTS they were so caring and patient because I was a mess, the vet lay on the floor with me and Benson as he didn’t like being up high, so the vet suggested laying on the floor with his blanket she made one of the hardest things I’ve ever done so calming and not scary for Benson. We now have 3 cats and a dog and each of them get amazing care from them. The only thing I don’t like is the Emergency out of hours vets they use, as I have had 1 phone call to them and all they were bothered about was talking about money, I was asking for advise over the phone and they refused to give any saying they can’t do that. I did raise this with white cross afterwards when they were back open. Thank you everyone at White Cross in Walkden”
