Kin Bakehouse & Kitchen
“Our first visit here today. Wow, just wow. I had the mushrooms on sourdough and my husband had the Turkish eggs. Both were unreal. It was one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had. We also took a cake home. The cake selection was also one of the best I've seen. We will be back as there is still many menu items and cakes I want to try. A credit to Urmston. Well done!”
The Coffee Shop @ Heaton
“First time visiting today, called in for a coffee and a sandwich on a meeting break. Really warm welcome, excellent service and lovely staff. The coffee was very good and our food was lovely, really liked the menu, the bread was gorgeous and the choices really catered for everyone. Will definitely be calling in again soon! Thanks!!”
Th3 Guys Bakers & Baristas
“Wonderful place, lots of vegan & breakfasts options, amazing cakes and great coffee!”
Swans Pool
“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”
Kings Arms
“Very clean, tidy and warm feeling. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very nice beer and food was very tasty, me and my Mrs fully enjoyed our meal. Definitely go back.”

“We visited the restaurant yesterday as part of a large party. The food was excellent and the service perfect. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon and would recommend for a quiet meal or as a large family.”
Cuppaccino Bistro
“Went for breakfast brunch with my son. Excellent value for money, he had the Big Set Breakfast and I had the Skinny Breakfast and we both swapped out an item and replaced it with extra hash brown/poached egg, (which were poached to perfection). Felt covid safe, temperature taken on arrival, hand sanitizer, tables well spaced out. Will definitely go back, especially as they have breakfast and drinks loyalty cards.”
vietnamese potbellied
“Vietnamese Potbellied is one of our local restaurants, and for the quality of the food, and the price you pay, you really can't go wrong! As the name suggests, it's a range of Vietnamese food - pho and ben hue making up the majority of the menu. Starters include things like salt & pepper prawns, chicken, tofu (pictured), spring and summer rolls. Importantly, the food is all fantastic. A favourite of mine is the s&p tofu and the Bun Bo Hue. Portions are extremely generous too - a starter and main would probably be more than enough for most people! The restaurant is also a mix of BYOB and has a license to sell alcohol as well. If you are able to BYOB, it makes a meal here extremely reasonable with the corkage (c. £4.50 I think). Recently, I visited with some family and for the 6 of us, the overall cost was £120, or £20 a head. Which is incredible value for a starter and main, given how good the food is! The atmosphere is also really lovely. It's nice and relaxed, the restaurant is family owned, and you are never rushed. Service is always really good, whenever we've visited. On Fridays and weekends you might want to book a bit in advance, but for weekdays you would probably be OK to walk in. All in all, great food, fab prices, just a really nice place to spend an evening!”
Nectar Bistro
“Lovely local dining place. The owners are fantastic and offer great service. Food is always excellent, with good prices and a good wine list. We love this place!”
Man Bites Frog
“Just came in for a couple of drinks. Was cool vibes and a great interior. The two women who were working both really nice. Would come again”
Chez Nous Bistro
“I love this place. Been here a few times now. Not the cheapest of restaurants but you definitely get what you pay for; quality food, lovely venue and truly attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble.”
Istanbul Grill Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
“We tried here last night for the first time and we were tempted to go again tonight, it was so so nice! From walking in, the staff were lovely, especially the young lady serving us (I've forgotten her name sadly) The food was delicious and the outdoor seating was fab, with a little heater too it was perfect and we can't wait to go again”
Lucknow Junction
“This has to be the most authentic Indian Food place in all of Manchester. The owner is actually from Lucknow, India. She makes great Veg as well as Non-Veg dishes. Try their Chicken Curry with rice, or Chicken Biryani, plain old Rajma Chawal or straight up Aloo Paratha. Everything is authentic and the real taste of India.”
US Four
“Visited for the Frist time today they serve very good coffee and the food was 1st class the staff were very welcoming will be going back again in the evening to try there beers and cocktails”
Barbour Partner Store, Knutsford
“Staff are really knowledgeable and helpful. Products are top quality.”
Reclamation Room Coffee shop & Style&Salvaged
“Well I love this place. Food was brilliant if a little expensive and it took a while to arrive as it was really busy. Mix up over the drinks was put right soon enough. The cafe has been taken over by the shop co-located with it. Results are great. Staff were lovely and they also have raised over £1000 for the victims of recent terror attacks.”
Buttylicious
“The best cafe / butty shop ever. Always welcomed, staff go above and beyond. Excellent quality and food is always good. Clean, tidy, fast service, friendly and many more great things they do.”
Globe Canteen & Coffee
“The food was lovely. The ladies on the counter were really nice and the guy that brought the food was having a chat with our little girl.”
Rhode Island Coffee
“I'm sorry but I'm bias on this one I've enjoyed Rhode island with my family and friends and still do staff are friendly and quick but it's a popular place and that makes it busy over all I love it”
Bread and Butter
“Ordered this breakfast platter and it was plenty of food for two! Really generous portions and best surprise was that it was all sitting on a bed of chips! Who can say no to egg and chips! Best Halal breakfast I have ever had!”
Rhode Island Coffee
“Amazing and delicious caramel latte made here which comes in different sizes with perfect temperature and presented very neatly. I've been here several times and the service has never failed to disappoint with friendly staff members and always a bubbly atmosphere.
