“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“My sister and I visited here before a show. She had a voucher from work that she wanted to use that allowed us to order from a set menu. The food was great, apart from the aranchini balls (they seemed a bit greasy). The service was also really good. The only bad thing was we were told at the end that we couldn't give a tip on our cards but we didn't have cash since noone (including them) is accepting cash anymore. We felt a bit bad but we were going to a theatre show and wouldn't have had time to go to a cash machine and come back. Definitely would go back here in the future.”

“First time at this fabulous restaurant and it won't be the last! Lovely concept of a 4 course meal served to you with courtesy and a smile. We loved the fact there is no menu meaning that each course was a surprise. The food was all home cooked, delicious and extremely good value. The chef came and chatted to us at the end of our meal too. Think we have found our new go to restaurant.”

“Scott has been walking my dog, Rupert, for nearly 1.5 years. He started doing puppy visits initially until he was vaccinated which he then joined the group walks. Throughout it all Scott has been amazing with him and Rupert gets so excited every time he gets picked up! The best touch on it is the updates via Instagram stories where I can see my little boy running around being happy. I highly recommend the value of the service for the price compared to doggy day care.”

“My husband and I always look to support small local businesses when we explore new towns, this little gem was well worth a visit. The owner is so naturally warm, you can clearly see the effect she has on the local community who flock to come for a coffee and chat! I personally loved the panini and delicious fruit smoothie I ordered!!”

“Eric and I have been coming since their opening and we can't praise them highly enough. Benjamin and his staff are so friendly. The coffee is the best anywhere. They have just started serving breakfasts and other freshly cooked food. The quality and presentation are perfect. Sarah, the chef, does an excellent job. The prices are also very reasonable. Lily and Shannon also provide friendly and helpful service. Coffee Vibe is a long awaited addition to our locale.”

“If you’re looking for ambience, this is not for you. Getting that out of the way, this was one of the most authentic and affordable breakfasts I have ever had in England and cooked to perfection and had great portion sizes.”

“I don't drink so I always have coffee, my coffee was spot on and as a bonus there was a choice of chocolate biscuits, yum yum, staff very pleasant place spotless definitely would be first port of call if I lived in Disley which is only a mile or so from Stockport and a bit more to Buxton a good starting point for walkers, with Lyme park a few yards down the road”

“Loved my classic pedicure I booked as a treat for my mum by Tia and Rosie! Tia is so sweet she made my experience luxurious so I’ll definitely be coming back. “Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”

“Absolutely amazing food. Ordered online, took about 30 mins if that, turned up hot and we received everything we ordered, plus free poppadoms and pickles. Paneer madras was the best I've ever had and the lamb naga was also amazing. Definitely recommend.”

“Popped in to use the bar as we were waiting for teens to finish a birthday meal across the road. There was nowhere open to grab a coffee at 6.30pm on a snowy December eve. Although we were not dining in we were welcomed as any guest and the service was excellent even if it was for only 2 coffees and a beer. We are looking forward to coming back for a meal soon. They usually sell out of Cheesecake, but I got some tonight and it was WELL worth the wait! How do I give more than 5 stars?”
