“Visited to use the pool. Changing rooms and pool as clean and sparking as the day they opened. Lady on the front desk very helpful. Showers also clean and you can control the water temperature but shower heads seem to limit the water flow and don’t give an even spread.”

“My family was looked after really well while we attended a family funeral at the church next door. Novotel provided great rooms for us all, as well as the funeral reception. Nothing was too much trouble and everything worked really well. The staff team is great.”

“This a a very well kept public car park. The lifts are clean and the attendant can often be see walking around on duty. Last month I miss placed my phone and when i rang it a kind gentleman answered only to tell me I had left it on the pay machine. He had it in his office waiting for me. When I arrived back the gentleman Patrick was very polite and opened the barrier so I don't have to pay for the car park again. He is a Real treasure, lovely meeting you Patrick. “I have been learning to improve my front crawl with Emmie. She is a great teacher, very friendly, she listened to what I want to achieve and helped me a lot! She corrected where I was doing wrong which I never realised! We worked on my strokes, arms kicks body positions and tumble turns and a lot of other stuff. I definitely improved a lot.I am so glad I took these lessons it’s definitely worth it!”

“Went on a windy cold January day and the park was magnificent!!! It’s only 4 miles from Manchester and on a clear day you can see the Mancunian towers and buildings from the hilltops. There’s a tram stop just beside it so very easy to go to. Wasn’t too crowded at all probably because of the wind. The animals were out and about enjoying the little sun they could find. The gardens are well kept. Some of the food stalls were closed but the cafe and pub were both open for food and drinks”

“I take my 2 young grandchildren regularly to this lovely park. My only issue is the number of dog walkers, often with several dogs each. As it is a park that is well used by families I feel that dogs should be kept on a lead. Otherwise it's a beautiful local asset.”

“Came to this park for the Dino kingdom experience. Such a nice big park. And was so clean and tidy. We noticed a lovely play ground but didn't have chance to go on it as we were leaving. Will more than likely come back here again to walk around and explore more.”

“Lovely walk round denzal gardens. Very friendly place to walk whist with your fury friend. Beautiful setting to catch up with other walkers. Benches so you can sit a chat and a pond to sit round”

“Although the Arcadia has been open for over 5 years, and I live locally, I first visited it last Tuesday. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be a major understatement. After entering through the automatic doors I was immediately impressed by the modern clean interior. The reception staff were only too happy to help with any enquiry, Sarah and Jamie in particular assisted me to obtain an over 60's swimming card - which to my great delight was free, and Sarah gave me a guided tour around the centre so that I could find my way around unaided on my next visit. I've no hesitation awarding 5 stars, the facilities and the staff totally deserve it”

“I think Stockport swimming club is amazing because they have pushed me right when I was in the little pool till the big pool and I am getting more confidence every time I go there you should give it a go I also recommend this club to all new swimmers”
