Everyone has an opinion on local takeaways, often varied but I can say factually that we have used Taj Balti for about 7 years and have been consistently happy with the quality, generosity of portions, friendly and helpful service, thoughtful touches. My partner is a fussy eater who will stick to what he likes and he rates their vegetable samber as among the best, also their raita, naan, lamb hoppers and chicken pakoras are particularly good. Plenty of interesting dishes to try from chef's special menu if you are a bit more adventurous than my partner. Better value than the other Indian / Bangladeshi takeaways in Glossop without compromising quality.”

Dupiaza Was good nothing really to write home about chicken was nicely cooked tasted nice But i Again state Nothing to write home about Price: Ordered from Just eat would have prefered to order directly as all profits go to the takeaway itself. For the overal order It came to £22.95 if i was sat inside the restaraunt itself i would have given £5 tip Overall: If you love curries this is the place to try Hoping they win the stockport curry award as that meal deserved it from me anyway Thanks to the Restaraunt for making my meal a delight and i hope you continue at this set standard.”

“This place has excellent food. I think the flavors are incredible! I was a bit disappointed the last time I went to see they had removed some craft cocktails from the menu because in combination with the food it was awesome… but it’s still great even without the drinks. I strong recommend the Lamb Chops, they are very tasty, even if you aren’t big on Lamb, it’s very well flavored. Always get some garlic naan! And another favorite is the chicken tika! Parking can be tricky in the area but there is a paid parking lot right behind the Restaurant if you want to make it simpler :)”

“Ordered 2x from here now had a normal kebab and 2x special kebab and a lamb tikka starter. This was the first takeaway I ordered from in Bolton and I’ll be honest I was absolutely blown away, first we started on the special kebab and oh my was it mind blowingly good morning only wish we started on the normal kebab because as incredible as it was it was blown out of the water by the special but equally satisfying. Missed out on the chips on the first order but the second ordered a regular chips and was presented with a buffet of chips larger than TCBS although on my own and couldn’t make a dent was pleasantly surprised and better than most of the takeaways you’ll find around. 1000% will order again and can’t wait to try other options in the future! Keep up the good cooking lads! Late delivery on first order but completely worth it and 30 minutes early on the second so can’t complain was hot and all the flavour!”
