“Incredible Asian food. Flavours are so authentic as an Indian myself. Not a flashy place. I'd describe it as a great simple eat in takeaway place to try if looking for authentic delicious. Service is fast as food is pre prepared daily and if you visit I would reccomend asking what dishes are available today. And you will be shown the days menu available. Which will be several curries available with fresh chappti or white rice.”

Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. “This has to be the most authentic Indian Food place in all of Manchester. The owner is actually from Lucknow, India. She makes great Veg as well as Non-Veg dishes. Try their Chicken Curry with rice, or Chicken Biryani, plain old Rajma Chawal or straight up Aloo Paratha. Everything is authentic and the real taste of India.”

“This was our first visit to the Bengal Curry Pot, so it had to be right because we were celebrating a birthday. From stepping into the premises we were greeted with smiling faces and very attentive staff. This was a surprisingly large dining area, with spacious comfortable seating. A selection of tasteful Bollywood music created a perfect atmosphere. The food was indeed excellent as was the service. The cost was very reasonable. We will be returning.”
