The salon has a great following of regular customers who quickly become friends and there is a real sense of community and being cared for in the salon. I have the worlds thickest hair and had never found a hairdresser who could manage to help me grow it out until I met Paul. Now Linda keeps it tamed for me on a regular basis. I always look forward to a visit to the salon. Can't recommend them highly enough for the cutting, colouring and the craic.”

“Went in because I was sick of my overgrown hair that was refusing to be tamed. I asked for a 2 on the sides and a 5 on the top. The owner said to me "Fiiiive????" and I said yes, and then he questioned me again before telling me that in his opinion that was too short and that a scissor cut would look better. I went with his suggestion, but I'm sure if I had said I wanted it, he would have done it. I have always asked hairdressers for their opinion on my hair but they never want to give it, so I appreciated this. The attention to detail is great - guy clearly knows his hair too. “I brought my nephews who are both mixed race to have their hair cut at Kehoes. It can be touch and go at most non Afro specialist barbers due to the difference in hair texture etc. However .... The barber Mike did an amazing job and my nephew will only go to him now. He made us all feel welcome and a nice jar of sweets, a coffee machine and it was just generally an amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend to all. It’s very inclusive and diverse. The epitome of 2021!”

“So glad I found this place as I'd been to Antwerp for a few days and had been drinking a fruit beer while there, I'd been drinking Liefmans Fruitesse and had been looking online for it, I was going for something to eat when I spotted this place and thought I'd pop in to see if they had any Liefmans and I'm so glad I did. “After a recommendation from my daughter I booked The Cottage. What a wonderful find. Great place to stay so clean and comfortable. Lovely woodfire makes it so cosy. Accommodation is great. The bedroom is very comfortable and you can see the stars when in bed. There is also a single room with twin beds. The garden is lovely my two dogs loved it and I knew they were safe as it is well fenced. Lovely walks round the area. After my weeks stay I felt so relaxed and can't wait to go back. A great find.”
