“We have just finished an amazing week’s honeymoon staying in Overlea Farm Cowshed. The cottage was incredible all round. I was particularly impressed with the decor and furnishing. Fantastic quality and great design. We loved the hot tub both on a morning looking out over the fields or on an evening looking at the stars. The fire was fantastic to keep toasty in the evening, though you get full control of the central heating anyway. The owners made us feel very welcome with a wonderful little welcome hamper. When we arrived there was gentle music playing on the Sonos system and a lovely scent from the diffusers. The location is fantastic for anyone with a car as it is super easy to access walks, restaurants and all the top sights in the Peaks within about 30 mins drive. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and would love to visit again.”

“Rooms are a lovely size and very clean, staff are very hospitable, breakfast is good. Train station literally opposite, very convenient. Only downside is no parking however the NCP next door is half price as you validate your ticket when you stay.”

I was upset and frustrated from the call centre agent and when I arrived in store I explained what had happened and it was resolved, with a smile and a glass of fizz. The only disappointing thing about the room was, there was no hand wash in the bathroom and the pedal bin didn't work.”
