Rock 'n Goal Manchester Walking Tour
“Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and fun! Would highly recommend!”
Free Manchester Walking Tours
“After living in Manchester for 6 months I figured I’d find out more about this city. My girlfriend and I did the free walking tour hosted by Josh. He was very passionate about this city and told many interesting stories and helped us discover some hidden gems.”
Aston's of Manchester
“Lovely and clean inside and out. The staff are really nice and cheerful, with a great selection to buy! I'll deffo be visiting again!”
Manchester United Museum & Stadium Tour
“Must visit if you are Man United fan. The trophy room reminds what this great club is all about. It's like taking a walk through history. Guided tour is also quite good and covers most important sections of this beautiful stadium.”
Native Manchester
“We loved native. It's architecturally really interesting - really great use of this space. The room was beautiful and a lovely place to come back to. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A couple of things that would have made it even better would have been some drawers to put clothes in and a full length mirror. All in all though we had a really great time and will definitely be back.”
The James Manchester
“Great location, right next to arndale and printworks. Really clean, all staff were pleasant. Very secure, have to use fob for building floor and room entry. When we found a tin next to the beds with ear plugs in we thought we may get noise from the stree and bars across but honestly heard nothing at all, we were on second floor. There were a few car parks near by but it is walking distance from Victoria station. Doors are heavy and closers on them make them slam quite loud. Needs more milk for drinks, next time we will take our own. Very warm in apartment but all radiators have individual thermostat controls, it was nice to people watch the people leaving printworks in December seb zero temperature while in a cosy apartment.”
Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, St. Peter's Square, Manchester
“Really loved staying here. The room itself was very nice, stylish, functional and comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals (not that I cooked), and the wifi was very reliable. I was booked here by work to stay here for 3 nights and I was able to easily book an extra night myself and the hotel staff were able to easily arrange for me to stay in the same room and not have to check out and in again. I will likely stay here next time I'm in Manchester. The only negative thing I would say is that the lifts are slow or there are not enough of them, because I always had to wait and there always seemed to be people waiting to use them.”
Manchester Cenotaph
“Some guy with a violin occasionally comes and plays street music. And not the usual kind either, this stuff is acutally good. These 5 stars are for you, violin guy.”
Corn Exchange Manchester
“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”
The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel
“I have stayed in numerous hotels in Manchester however this is has got to be the best one I have stayed at so far! I recently stayed here for my friends birthday, the Guest Relations Manager was super accommodating and helped me setup my room for my friends birthday. She even kindly left a birthday card and small cake for my friend, thank you Viktorija. Exceptional 5 star service from all staff right from checking in right up until checking out and leaving the hotel. This was definitely a 5 star experience for myself and the welcome received from all staff was amazing. We had a small issue where our heating in the room was not working however the hotel accommodated promptly with a portable heater. Spa was also so beautiful and the overall look of the hotel is so aesthetically pleasing! 100% recommend this hotel, I don’t think I will book anywhere else now, it’s going to be my go to 5 star hotel. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you to all staff at The Edwardian this hotel is beautiful!!!!”

Hilton Manchester Deansgate
“I was greeted almost immediately upon entering, by a lovely gentleman who asked me what I was looking for. He spotted my awe in the vast size of the bottom floor. I was given a very warm welcome and felt like a VIP. Chose the stairs as I was not too high up. Amazing place, quite surreal in that despite its size, there is still a personal hospitality from all of the staff, not impersonal. I was blown away.”
Sightseeing Manchester
“Booked tickets for me and some friends who were spending the day in Manchester. We had a brilliant hour upstairs on the open top bus. Great value for just £12. Clear commentary and information by the guide and a free map with information on Manchester and the route we took. Such a brilliant memory for us all. I definitely recommend”
AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre
“The hotel was amazing and new. The staff were very lovely and helpful throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was also good, had quite a few bars and restaurants within walking distance too. The hotel also had a lovely bar, which was great.”

Black Opal Travel Group
“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”
Escapes Travel Ltd
“Absolutely amazing, everything from beginning to the end, was sorted by Tony, very personal service, we wouldn't go anywhere else to book our travels.”
Old Mill Restaurant
“The food is wholesome, great sized portions, very tasty, staff are lovely, prices are very reasonable, going for Christmas dinner, Menu for Christmas lunch is really excellent!! Book early xx”
Loz's Cafe
“Lovely food and fantastic people. Best breakfast in Oldham.”
Sinclair Law Solicitors
“After dealing with a different (big name) law firm, and being treated terribly, I researched and found Sinclair Law - I'm so glad I did. I am based in the USA, so dealing with a matter in the UK was stressful. Philippa was my solicitor, and she was caring, thoughtful, professional, and communicative. But most importantly, she was firm and direct with the other party, and brought my matter to a successful resolution, quickly. I could not be happier. It reminded me that smaller, personal firms are often the better choice, and I highly recommend Sinclair Law.”
On Time Travel
“Prompt, reliable service every time. There is a reassuring call the day before you travel to double check details of journey timing. The vehicles are clean and tidy and the drivers are very professional. We wouldn't consider using anyone else.”
Sunfield Accommodation
“Hosts very welcoming as I arrived late and they organised a taxi for me . Bed was very comfortable clean and tidy room and bathroom. I was in awe at the view from the breakfast room / lounge - amazing views of the Diglea valley - sheep and lambs in fields - hens clucking around the car park . I chose my breakfast which was freshly cooked whilst I admired the views and peace . The hosts were kind and gave lots of information about the history of the area . A definite recommended from me .”
Fernhill B & B
“Stopped in 3 different rooms here now all have amazing bathrooms comfy beds warm and spotlessly clean. Location is probably best you will get in the area easy to get too but rural and quiet countryside. I tried to think of something negative to say but honestly I can't fault the place for the pricepoint.”
