All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. “Lovely independent cafe in Victoria Train Station. Celebrating 22 years in 2018. The coffee is great. And if you want a stiffer drink - beer, wines and cocktails are available too. If you like this, also check out their other cafe at Oxford Road Station. You won't be disappointed.”

“Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”

“A bar worth visiting. If you enjoy a great view while you’re sipping on an amazing cocktail, you have to go here. The bartenders know their menu and they’re also extremely nice. We needed no reservation when we went there during a Sunday (midday). There where lots of seats available both inside and outside. One of my favourite parts was the live music, wow!”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”

“I've been going to Peter for about 8 years. I left Manchester for London and had to find a new hairdresser and realised how good I had it! No one cuts it as well and I will never deviate again. I will continue to have my hair cut by Peter when I am in town for work and sometimes time trips especially as I rate him so much. He knows what he's doing, I trust his judgement and the style holds long after the day of the cut. Thank you!”

“Was swiftly seated and payment was taken at the start, at £20 a head it was well priced for what you could get. lovely and vast selection of dishes.. enjoyed the cooked on the spot calamari and beef steak both seasoned which was pleasant. everything was tasty apart from the roast chicken, would go again.”
