Hearty sandwich in Manchester

“Ordered afternoon tea for two as a surprise for my friend. Despite being very busy and I was last minute with the order, Jo fitted us in for the next day. The presentation, delivery and food were all outstanding! Great treat idea for friends and family.”

“We dropped in for lunch today and were not disappointed. The decor is welcoming and tasteful, the service friendly and cheerful and the food delicious! The menu was great and the drinks choice was plentiful. I loved the fact that you could have a half sandwich along with a bowl of delicious homemade soup, and my husband totally enjoyed his homemade cheese and onion pie. This place is definitely worth a visit.”

“Ordered a couple of fried chicken wraps and triple cooked chips and they were full of flavour and filling decent portions, the place looked amazing really smart loved the rustic look, I will definitely be back and was reasonably priced aswell very friendly staff”

“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

“Lovely takeaway, did a search on google to find one with good reviews and it definitely didn't disappoint, although I couldn't find a menu on line! I rang and asked for our favourite; sweet & sour fish which wasn't a problem, when I arrived to pick it up I picked up a menu and couldn't find sweet & sour fish anywhere, but they had still done it and it was gorgeous, what a service! Definitely go there again!!!”

“Had a veggie brekky, was top notch. Served with hot filtered coffee straight away and the breakfast was nice and fresh. Offered condiments and ongoing customer service while eating. Pictures of meal below cost me £4.50 including my tea/coffee. Staff, food and environment were good. Defo recommend. My second review, come here regularly now.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“This place is mindblowing! Beautiful decor, absolutely spotless, coffee and sandwiches to die for. And the prices are very good. Beautiful oat vanilla latte & the most delicious chicken tikka sandwich. Even if I’m not hungry, whenever I happen to be in Manchester, I make sure I get 1 for later Lol. The owner is a very decent, sincere and genuine gentleman. He works with passion and prices, quality of products, cleaniness and his approach to clients reflect that. Always happy and professional. “Came here today with my friend to grab a quick bite and some coffee ! My friend is coeliac and can never find cafés with gluten free bread. Although we know most restaurants can’t guarantee the risk of cross contamination, Katie made a conscious effort to ensure my friends toast was gluten free and prepared separately from mine. I will be returning, great family friendly place to pop by for a quick drink !”

“Quaint and adorable little caffee, the cappuccino and the bagel was spot on. It's cosy, warm, and has a lot of charm. The outside could do with some tlc, but it doesn't deterr from the service and interior. I wish it was slightly larger as it's pretty small ans cramped inside. Highly recommend this for coffee lovers rather than the rubbish served in places like Costa or Starbucks.”

The food is fantastic quality, the staff are lovely and they take pride in serving their community and giving back. They DO cater for veggies/vegans/allergy sufferers - but their sausages are EPIC! If your dog is well-behaved, they're welcome too.”
