From walking in the entrance to being discharged same day I have nothing but praise for everyone I came into contact with, from start to end. Their friendliness and professionalism put me at ease, the op was a great success, and I was offered coffee, biscuits, toast and juice on several occasions. She has used a variety of techniques on me depending on the problem and where I am up to in my recovery. “Excellent and friendly service from our local paediatric clinic. Note the location: at the south end of Hall Lane, at the junction with Bowland Road and Blackcarr Road. Across the road from St Martin Wythenshawe Church, and within walking distance Martinscroft Tram. There is a small car park at rear, but plenty of on street alternate parking.”

“This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”

“Have been going to this dentist for afew years now and it’s always been good, we went for our check ups today to find our old dentist has left and there was a new dentist and dental nurse. The dentist Dr Tanvi is such a lovely young lady (as was the dental nurse) so friendly and explained everything as she was going along even had afew laughs. I have to say I don’t think I have ever felt so relaxed at any dentist I have been to. Also to the young lady receptionist Amy who was also very friendly and helpful. I don’t think anyone really likes going to the dentist but I would like to thank you all for making the experience almost a pleasure lol x”

“Joined this gp at the beginning of the pandemic with my son and New born daughter. They have given us the upmost best care possible. They always go above and beyond, deal with matters promptly and I have never struggled to get help immediately. Given the strain on gp practices currently this hasn't dimmed the level of care this practice gives. I was with my previous gp practice for 26 years and I never received close to the level of care i have here. A massive thank you to all staff”

“Having had 2 pair of hearing aids in the past, I decided I did not want to pay £3000+ again and asked my gp to go NHS. My referral gave me two choices , I chose Beacon medical group. I was assessed within 2 weeks and fitted with new hearing aids a week later. As I said despite paying privately in the past I almost always had a level of irritation which never really went away and that was the biggest disincentive to wearing hearing aids ! The NHS audiologist was quite thorough and although only time will tell , my hearing aids were comfortable right from the start ! I would recommend the Beacon med. services and my audiologist to anyone .”

“Shocking. I have previously left a good review because of Dr Hannan who is a brilliant doctor and this review has nothing to do with them. I went to my doctor 7 months ago about symptoms I have been experiencing which I have been worried about. I can’t remember exactly how long I waited for that appointment but I think it was about 6 weeks, I had a blood test and got results quickly. I had to have another blood test 3 months after. When I rang to book it the waiting time was 6 weeks. I’ve had to wait over 2 weeks for the results after the blood test and that’s because I had to contact them. Every time I phone I get told to phone back tomorrow. I have tried 5 or 6 times now. No one picks up on the line to call through to get results so I have to pick the appointments option and getting through is terrible. I’ve been with this surgery all my life but I am now going to change.”

“I am relatively new to this practice, but they were very supportive and helpful at my time of serious need. All the staff have been great, I have learned a lot, since what has happened to me, that there are people who are much worse off than ourselves, even if we are having a very difficult time. You may not realise what is going on in the background, or how they are looking after people in a dignified respectful way. Nothing is perfect, but in my experience, the staff and doctors, have done everything to sort things out for me. I may not be finished with their help and support yet, but I truly thankful.”
