The owner said to me "Fiiiive????" and I said yes, and then he questioned me again before telling me that in his opinion that was too short and that a scissor cut would look better. I went with his suggestion, but I'm sure if I had said I wanted it, he would have done it. I have always asked hairdressers for their opinion on my hair but they never want to give it, so I appreciated this. The attention to detail is great - guy clearly knows his hair too. “I visited the Salon of Marple after looking for a new salon as my old hairdresser changed locations. The Salon of Marple staff were helpful from when I first enquired until after I had my hair styling appointment. Danielle the hairdresser was very professional and talked me though the process answering all my questions. She gave me recommendations of how to style my hair and which products would be best for me. Overall my experience was great here and I will be back when I can.”

“We always take the family pets a King Charles Spaniel and a English Bulldog (mostly for his nails) and they always do a fabulous job. The appointment reminder phone calls a day or two before hand are invaluable. As is the wait list for cancelled appointments on short notice. There is also a loyalty scheme in place too. The King Charles always comes home smelling nice, neatly trimmed and sometimes with a little bow or similar on his collar. He's happy too. Very busy place but Leanne does her best to get appointments to fit.”

“My two boys and husband go here. They are fab with children and my 1 year old actually enjoys having his hair cut here whereas, he usually doesn’t like having his hair trimmed. I think the chilled atmosphere, and tv as a distraction, makes it a more pleasant experience for him. If anyone has a baby who isn’t keen on hair cuts definitely try here. They always do a spot on job no matter which barber carries out the cut. We wouldn’t go anywhere else, highly recommend.”
