“I have been in the Brewers twice recently. Its very nicely decorated and comfortable inside. The Cocktails are 2 for 1 which is fab. On a nice day you can sit outside and the atmosphere in the village is vibrant and fun.”

“Good clean boozer with a decent choice of beer/ales. Not a regular only use after we've been for curry up the road but never had any problems.”

“Cannot beat the location right in city centre , plenty of shops nearby and less than 10 mins walk from Piccadilly station! Rooms are comfortable , clean and good price. Breakfast is good value too with a wide range of items available. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again.”

“My first time I was invited by Narrow Margin Tameside band to write a review on their comeback gig ! A real gritty place which encourages our new bands to play & to get discovered ! Truly an an amazing place to be seen & spotted ! Fantastic for the music scene! In the heart of Manchester’s music scene !”

“Really enjoyed our visit on a Sunday, managed to book online easily, parking was available. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food came in a very reasonable time, great value and cooked to a very good standard. The children's menu offered choice and well-sized portions. Highly recommended!”

“Went for tapas with a group of work friends and was not left disappointed! They put a tapas buffet on for us which included starters of salami, Spanish ham, olives, pitta, sundried tomatoes and salsa, followed by gambas pil pil, chorizo, patatas bravas, Meatballs and two types of chicken and garlic bread! Food was absolutely spot on and they accommodated a lady who had a gluten intolerance, she was well impressed! Only thing I'm upset about is not taking a pic!”

We didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered which was cooked perfect and served piping hot. “I have always loved this pub and living in Sale we like to walk over via the water park. The pub is dog friendly as are we and the gentleman behind the bar tonight at 18.00 was very helpful and friendly. The locals seem very content in the pleasant surroundings and were happy to chat. Great local pub with a good feel to it. Nice in the seating area out the back today, comfortable and quiet.”
