“First of all, a big thanks to Nanette for such a brilliant day! My partner booked the birds of prey experience for both of us as a Valentines Day gift and it was full of knowledge and fun! It was easy to see how much passion Nanette has for wildlife which we admired and we even put to bed any bad opinions on vultures as Nanette wanted to showcase how these birds are actually quite funny and interesting regarding how they have their place in disease prevention in third world countries. There are so many birds here and all are beautiful and have their own character. Thanks again for such a great knowledgeable day and we’ll definitely be back soon for the Meerkat experience! “Took my one year old daughter here yesterday, me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed playing with her in the young section of the place. Parking was a bit awkward as it was busy. But once inside, great food to choose from and I like how we could take our time and enjoy the experience without rushing. “Small but well equipped and managed soft play centre. The space is used really well so that parents can see the kids at (nearly) all times and there is enough for the kids to play on that they can be really exhausted! Staff are great, and (as it's next to a pub) the facilities are great.”

“We had a very comfortable, well equipped room with ample Tea and coffee and biscuits available. Large TV with an excellent bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and very helpful Andrea on reception was welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a very peaceful, tranquil location it is a very old, listed building with character. Thank you to Scott the General Manager who gave us a tour of the night club which is undergoing a major refurb and uplift. A fantastic, atmospheric, period venue perfect for any occasion. We will definitely be returning when the hotel upgrades are completed in the summer.”
