“Delicious food. Nice and fresh. Chips were crispy and chicken was juicy. Portion sizes were quite ample and food overall was reasonably priced. Highly recommend the wings as its much much better than the wings you get from other chicken joints in the area.”

Food arrived very quickly after being offered the opportunity to watch it get made fresh in front of our eyes which was amazing. “Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.”

“Smashing takeaway, the service is excellent in shop, you never feel rushed and they still get the food to you quick. Food it's self is always perfectly done, definitely one of the best kebabs in Oldham and the chips are always piping. Highly recommend using this place as your go to takeaway, I know I will be.”

“Second time we have had pizza from here and it's great. We drove 20 mins from Ramsbottom so it's not far and knowing it's a 100% vegan place is reassuring. The Marinara was delicious and my boyfriend had the Prosciutto and Fungi for the second time which he raves about. It's his favourite pizza. It would be awesome if they could deliver but the fact that there is a vegan place so close, well, we can't wait to actually go in and eat and have a night out there with some mates in a few weeks time (hopefully)!”

“Visited in the morning with a friend for some breakfast. We ordered the English breakfast and the desi one. Both were very hearty. A very warm welcome from the staff, service was great and overall a lovely place. Will definitely recommend and I'll coming back again. We finished off with dessert. A peanut butter stack and the chocolate churros all freshly made really enjoyed it. Huge thank you and well done to the staff x All the best x ❤”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!”

“Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”
