“We had our wedding at Park Manor and the day went perfectly - all down to Parag and the staff. Parag is very attentive to detail - much so that he had to rearrange the table settings which the venue dresser I hired for the day left in such a mess. The food was beautiful as always and Parag made everything so easy and relaxed for us and our guests on our special day. “Firstly my photos are rubbish and don't capture the food as well as it should. Also, I forgot to take photos of the full sea bream in champagne sauce, or the bone marrow served with Pommes Anna, we just got too hungry and forgot! Pig's Head croquette - wonderfully crispy on the outside, with a strong fatty pork flavour which I loved, outstanding! Bone Marrow with Pommes Anna - juicy, delicate, and the mouth feel of the fat coating your tonuge - gorgeous. Needed the salty pommes anna alongside for the perfect mouthful. Charred Hispi cabbage - a nice bitterness and complemented by the deep sauce. Beef shin and kidney rarebit pudding - a stodgy big portion, but the suet was light and crumbly, deep meaty flavours with the kidney not overpowering. This was a meal on its own! Roast duck with port sauce - perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. Sea Bream - whole sea bream which was perfectly roasted, champagne sauce was perhaps a little rich for us by then, but the chive oil did help to balance that out. House fries - nice, but we were stuffed so not really needed! No real complaints, it was busy and we hadn't booked, so we had to sit at the bar which wasn't the most comfortable. The food comes out as its ready which means we were left with the sea bream and fries at the end - would have been better if the order of dishes could have been rearranged, but anyway, this was a great meal. Including three soft drinks, only £92 for all that incredible food! Definitely need to go again!”

“By chance I discovered this recently opened little gem of a cafe in Hale Village adjacent to the railway station. This cafe is on the second floor above an art gallery and is immaculately clean and simply but tastefully decorated. Very polite and attentive staff with a good selection of nicely cooked food and drinks at very reasonable prices. It is an ideal location to relax and meet your friends for a coffee or a light meal throughout the day.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“I can’t believe I’ve not been before! Always chasing the sun I opted for its neighbour, as a treat to my mother I booked a birthday lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised, quaint courtyard with secluded spots you wouldn’t know you we’re next to a road. For food we tried all of the small dishes (tapas style) super tasty and enough to share. Engaging staff and a quirky interior see for a perfect visit. We will be returning soon”

We came as a large group 20 people, it was explained to us simply how to use the hot pots and staff were so keen to help (keep our hotpot topped up, refill our water) food was amazing, and so many different types of vegetarian food and gluten free clearly labeled, we were so impressed, and surprisingly filled up. “Superb food, great dining experience and friendly staff. Never had a bad experience. All the staff are very welcoming and remember faces which is always a nice touch. Two of my favourite menu items (Rabbit starter and Beef Short Rib Starter) have been removed, but you are still inundated with choice. Servings are also great for an Italian. When you are inside, you actually forget that you are in Oldham. Highly recommended.”

“Probably the best place for a casual yet very tasty dinner in Manchester. We tried chicken gyros and bifteki ( greek burger) . Everything was excellent. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the meet is exceptional but the price is very reasonable making it the best value for money . I suggest you ask for a special greek white wine called retsina ( wine with pine tree extract ). Finally there are nice deserts like homemade baklava and cheesecake.”

“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”
