Not forgetting the nutty chocolates they make in-house that were the beautiful ending that we didn’t need and thoroughly enjoyed”

“I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”

“The best curry goat I've ever had, no surprise bones or gristle, I literally dream about it. It would be my last supper if on death row! Leroy is lovely, his homemade jerk sauce is gorgeous & spicy, and my colleagues have never said a bad word about the jerk chicken or stew beef.”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”

“What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. “That one taste the same as we did in Thai. Curry chicken soup noodles is a bit salty, the prawn pineapple fried rice is palatable. Two adults and two kids spent £42.8 (after discount). Must go again!”

“Honestly amazing and will make you want to return. Food sizes are brilliant. They also cater for halal eaters. Don’t order extra chips, there’s that much on one plate! Lovely customer service. Gloves given to avoid messiness. Just not a fan of how open the windows are with the public walking by watching as we eat haha. But overall it’s definitely a place where the family want to go to. “Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”

“The food was absolutely incredible Jamie made the gammon to perfection. It tasted incredible. The waiter Elaine couldn’t do enough for us, grabbing our refillable drinks and even offering us stuff in replacement of sides we didn’t like. The service was very fast and the food arrived perfect. One of the best harvester experiences I’ve had. Would definitely visit again when coming to Manchester.”

“Now then, firstly the location of the restaurant overlooking the Lowry, Salford Quays and the Irwell is top. Food was delicious and toppings on my vegan padana were plentiful also. Waitress was friendly and helpful; I swear down that this has been the only Pizza Express which has been consistently decent.”
