Manchester Road Cafe & Sandwich BAR
“Excellent food and service is second to none. Very busy and parking can be difficult. Outside area where dogs allowed. Beer and wine available. Highly recommended.”
Meet & Eat
“A family-run place where you can expect to find excellent great quality of products, beautiful chef's touches on the plates served and a warm welcome. I went for dinner and had the gyros platter which was incredible! Have not had that quality of meat since I was back in Greece so full stars for this. They also have a quaint but excellently crafted coctail selection. I went for an amaretto sour which was spot on. Definitely check it out when around Handforth or in Wilsmlow as it is quite close. Will try the breakfast next and report back!”
Porta134 cafe
“Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Really friendly people running the place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Had coffee, a pastry, and cake, all were lovely. Good portion size for the price.”
Jardim Rodizio Grill
“The food is delicious, with a wide selection of quality meats and a nice salad bar with lots of varieties. The people are so friendly and nice, and they accommodate kids really well. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it. Our second time there and won't be the last.”
Love Community Cafe
“Great café with amazing food. I'd definitely recommend the tea, too. Deborah is really friendly. Excellent place to go any time of the day.”

“One of the best tasting coffee i've had in manchester as a whole. You can tell they have put time and effort into sourcing the bean and making sure the equipment is calibrated right.”
The Whaley Nook Tap Rooms
“Friendly and atmospheric micro pub, run by Phil and Wendy. Always feel welcome, it may be small, but that's not a bad thing. Still plenty of room, excellent choice of drinks, and a chatty place to meet up. Highly recommended.”
The Dressing Room Cafe Bar
“Lovely place to sit and have coffee and very good cake. One of the few places in Chorlton that has an off road garden area to sit.”
Porta Tapas Bar
“Lovely tapas, reasonable prices, nice selection with some different dishes, only downside is the place is small and a little cramped and little room on small tables for a good selection of dishes”

Lou's Brews @ One Thirty Cafe/bar
“Breakfast was delicious! Louise is amazing and so welcoming! Would definitely recommend :)”
Two Brothers Coffee
“Choice of milks. Had an oat milk coffee done exactly as I asked for. I used my own cup as well. Plus a very delicious vegan cake. But no lactose free milk shame about that.”
Pi Bar
“Nice place, good views upstairs and really friendly staff. Good selection of craft beers and taste pies, not cheap for what you get but reasonable.”
Lowerhouse Inn Pub & Function Room
“I have been to many functions at this venue and always had a great night. Always made to feel welcome even when I have been there on my own. The staff are very friendly and also very accomodating when I have held events there. One such event was on the 14th August where it was a great night and the staff even helped decorate the room as well as cleared everything into a tidy area for us to collect the next day. I noticed a 1* review from a guest at the previous event.. The lady claims to have been Merry but not drunk yet was abusive and confontational to other guest including myself. Later at her hotel it took 8 police officers to escort her from her room after she constantly tried to attack on of her own party. If thats not drunk I'd hate to see how you behave when you are? The fact this lady 2 weeks later is still trying to cause trouble, speaks more about her than the venue she is trying to bad mouth.”
Mainway cafe
“Ordered the breakfast for delivery, the food was excellent, everything was hot, would 100% use this cafe again, the best breakfast I've had”
Java Bar Espresso
“Perfect place when getting off the train, staff are lovely, great atmosphere and not too packed.”

“Great live music venue with a good selection of beers and lagers. Friendly, welcoming staff. Stuart Collier is a fantastic landlord, supporting live music and charitable event.”
Tutku Cafe
“Excellent place with a nice atmosphere, very good, swift service (lunchtime on a Saturday), reasonably priced, and as expected for a Turkish restaurant, tasty and fresh. Can't wait to go back.”
The Friendship Inn
“Excellent pub clean and comfortable good entertainment and great staff”
Dubai Fresh Shawarma And Steak House
“Been using here now for many weeks and can honestly say that the kebabs served here are excellent. The staff a very friendly and service is excellent. The kebabs are delicious and the portions huge. The kebabs here are lovely, excellent portions and lovely presentation. Food is cooked to perfection and tastes very clean. Great takeaway service with very prompt delivery.”
Hare & Hounds
“We were driving through Uppermill and stopped for a look around. We listened to the Brass band playing outside the Legion, popped into a few of the shops, bought some wares and on route back to the car park stepped into the Hare & Hounds. It was quieter than the other pubs we had passed, the combination of old look furniture and new look paint work still leaves the impression with a pleasant nostalgic feel to the past. The two female bar staff were lovely and friendly, as were the locals we spoke to. Very pleased we dropped in on a whim, I hasten to add the driver had a lime and soda. Look forward to dropping by again.”
Pizza Hut Restaurants
“Clean and presentable restaurant, friendly staff. Able to order ahead online for a quick pick up, was waiting less than 5 minutes for the order to come from the kitchen. Great quality food at reasonable prices, 5 larges pizzas with 4 sides fed 8 people without any problems. Well worth visiting”

“Had a £15 gift voucher for Xmas. Visited you yesterday. Spent about £8. Had a lovely visit but think I left the card on the table. Was it handed in please?”
