“Great stay at the Cornerstones guest house. Spotlessly clean room - nice decor and loads of space. Had all the comforts I needed including a hairdryer. Lovely big bathroom, excellent shower and loads of space to put all my bits and pieces out. Free parking included. Lovely welcome and top notch host. Excellent vale for money.”

“We hired the upstairs room for a get together with friends. We had a fantastic time! The guys working there were friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our time with them a great one. The Sunday roast was amazing! They put the menu together for us as they normally only do Brunch menu. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Dom, Joe and team.”

“A warm relaxing ambience , open mic nights, a VERY reasonable variety of 'non-coffee' beverages - on Draught, bottle or can, a variety of comfortable seating, some basic dining options with any manner of takeaways welcomed, clean restrooms... need I go on? And they have great coffee! Excellent place to chill with friends.”

Definitely worth getting a membership if you go there a couple of times as you get this discounts am a number of things. Prices are for and the food offered is good quality too. “What a fantastic place, we hadn’t been before, we were greeted with kindness, we were settled in, everything explained to us and then the fun began. Painting unicorns, making memories all with a brew, juice for the children, gorgeous cake, just wonderful. I truly could not recommend this lovely venue to all ages, enough!! The cost was very fair for the whole experience. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!”

Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. Already planning my next trip there soon.”

“A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. “Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. We had a great time and hope you do too!”

“Superb chippy. My only criticism is it doesn't deliver! That said it doesn't distract from me awarding them 5 stars. The staff are friendly and accommodating and haply for you to call in to place your order and collect at a specified time. The menu is comprehensive and their vegetarian selection is one of the best I've seen. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. All in all fantastic value for money. Keep up the good work.”

“Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”
