“I rang the florist yesterday from Dorset to ask for flowers to be delivered this morning, I gave the price that I was willing to spend and I was happy to spend extra for delivery, I was told that delivery would be free as it was in an adjoining road. I was very surprised as most shops would still have charged. The flowers have been delivered and the recipients were delighted. The pictures of the flowers look beautiful and I am very happy. I was advised that the large supermarkets & on line suppliers buy flowers in bulk when the prices are right . they are then kept in freeezing temperatures until needed ( sometimes up to 10 months ) when purchased they are poor quality & they last only a few days This florist uses only fresh seasonal flowers which they get direct from the growers on a twice weekly basis , they will last three, four, or five times longer.”
