“I honestly tried to find a problem with this place, but the whole experience, from the warm greeting from the proprietor to the end of the food, you feel like it's a different experience. The quality of the food is sublime, everything cooked to perfection and prepared with such precision and detail that you almost forget that you're having a takeaway burger in your lounge. The owner was very excited and happy to tell us the story of how he got the idea to start this business. Upon hearing we hadn't been before, the owner, as he wanted our opinion on them, he handed us a taste of their Pitt beans, which were incredible. The taste is almost impossible to describe except "wow!" Overall, if you're after an upmarket burger, full of flavors, and sides that will blow your mind, then this is the place for you. There is car parking and also, they are coordinating order collection times brilliantly to avoid gatherings of people at their premesis. Well done guys!”

I am not african but my husband is and he is very frustrated with sand in egusi and beef not being fried enough or plantain being burnt ....he even stopped eating..until tonight where our local restraunt was closed and just by chance an angel pointed us in your direction...we thaught nooo not another one but as soon as we opend our food we smelt freshness the plantain was like heaven the egusi yummy and u get enough meat with ur rice. “Absolutely gorgeous and mouth watering, every piece of the meat had its special taste, i usually dont like meats but i fell in love with them instantly, sirloin was very soft and juicy and literally melting in my mouth, lamb chops itself full of flavour, and chicken steak as you would think this would get dry but it was very juicy and soft, i would definitely recommend this place as everything was made right infront of me , very fresh and tasty, its a very new business so definitely give it a try,”

“Great, authentic Ethiopian restaurant within easy walking distance of town and Piccadilly and Oxford Rd stations. The restaurant is up the spiral staircase which appears you enter Istanbul Kebab shop! Several Ethiopian couples were eating when we entered - which was encouraging. We ordered lamb tibs, and misir what with injera. Food was good portion size - we couldn't finish it - and tasted great. The waiter and staff were smiling and super friendly and helpful. The bill was very reasonable - recommended - will return.”

“I’ve tried most of the curry canteens in cheetham and northern quarter and real Taste is my go to. They offer a great varied selection of tasty curries with excellent freshly made breads. Also really good tandoori dishes. Prices are good to.”

“Oh, the lovely food! This is a brilliant true Middle Eastern experience. One where the don't push tons of cumin to be considered middle Eastern. Fresh ingredients with heart warming flavours and cooked over charcoal grill. Our second time here, it is just a delicassy!”

“This was a random stop to try the pizza since I was in the area. Every Italian shall be judged by their Margherita pizza and they passed very well, wood fired pizza done in less than 5 minutes like the waiter claimed. Tasted very fresh and the size was 12" so good value for the money. The crust of the bread or dough was not so airy but didn't taste chewy either. See photos attached.”

“I have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to fill my palate since I have been in England and Scotland for over 40 days. Nothing was in comparison to what I am used to back in California where I grew up until I ate at Viet Guy. The atmosphere is a classy Vietnamese restaurant like in Little Saigon in Westminster California when it became a haven for Vietnamese Food and businesses in the 80s. Manchester you are very lucky. This review was from dining here for six days while waiting for my departure back to the USA. There will be one more time before we go to make it lucky 7.”

“We have been going to the Spicey Chef for years and Everytime we have a party we order a curry from them. On Saturday it was my sons 16th birthday. We ordered Masala sauce for 17, chicken tika tandoori pieces, onions and chillies,and mushrooms. As per usual it was on time and absolutely delicious. The staff are so lovely and friendly . “Hidden Gem! Can’t express how amazing this place is! Really heart warming and wholesome food. You can definitely tell it’s cooked with tradition and love for their cuisine. Me and my friend ordered the fried chicken nasi lamek, kind prawn sambal, roti and chicken satay (the most tender and juicy chicken satay I’ve ever had in my life! Omfg) everything was unreal, cooked to perfection. We also got to chat with Aunty Lotus herself! Everything in this place really feels like your eating round your Malaysian / Asian aunties house! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.”
