Jackies Chippy
“Amazing food, the best in the area! I'm a vegetarian who happens to love Chinese food. I've tried all the Chinese takeaways around and without doubt Jackie's chippy is the best by miles. Very very tasty food, I could kill for their fried broccoli and the vegetable chow mein is truly vegetarian , they never tried to trick me with just picking out the meat from the normal chow mein, unlike other takeaways around. Well done Jackie's, keep up the good work, you're the best!!!”
Ho Yee Chippy
“Top notch food but one bad thing prices are far to high much more than it says on menu”
The Nursery Inn
“A traditional pub with a bowling green, excellent atmosphere and great food at modest prices.”
Al Safa Takeaway
“The quality has gone a little down as the chicken was too dry and somewhat different taste too. Not sure the spices have changed. The Kobeda was like always bang on. The prices have been raised and assuming that everything else has also done the same.”
Town Cafe
“Food was very nice and delicious and friendly atmosphere.”
The Forester Pub & Kitchen

“My father goes when he's in town I like the place. Had a couple of nice glasses of red wine. At least their disabled lavatory ISN'T on the 1st floor. Unlike somewhere i went not long ago”
The Jolly Carter
“So my review is me just me doing a flying visit as we delivered an entrance easel and our baby boxes which we (Bolton Balloon Fairies) provide to hire. Upon entry you get the warmth family feeling, the decor is modern, the staff were very friendly and there was ample space to hold an occasion, there is an easy accessible wheelchair entrance and I would definitely recommend taking a visit whether it be for a drink, family meal or to have an occasion. A very well looked after place and was very clean.”
Henighans

“Just come into have a look at the recent renovation its been more years than I care to mention since I've been here. It's really well done and I must say a nice place to visit we looked at the menu which has a good selection and although we did not eat on this occasion we will definitely be back. Have to say they pour a good pint of Guinness.”
The Bay Horse Tavern
“Lovely food in a really nice pub. Staff super friendly, front of house guy was so nice. Really enjoyed our dinner here today”
The Spread Eagle
“Came here on Sunday and got the "two for £20" deal on Sunday roast, amazed at the great quality and value for money. We were seated in one of the booths which was really comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 of us, there is perspex screens in-between all the seating making us all feel safe. Staff were really friendly and everything was a smooth operation. Can't wait to come back and have another roast.”
