“Me and my family went here for a birthday tea off of a shining recommendation. Could not recommend more, the food was amazing, best jalfrezi I’ve ever had. The mixed starter was gorgeous. Could not have asked for a better server, Jax treated everyone single of us like royalty. Every thing was evenly priced and amazing portion sizes. Everything we needed was met instantly. Can not wait to go back, our new place! Could not reccomend this place more best Indian going!”

We originally came in out of curiosity but will be returning for the quality. We got the Chicken Taco'o with their burger mayo and Algerian sauce, and oh mon dieu, was it amazing. The only grievance we have is that we didn't get more of it! If you want to start your day right, boost your day, or end your evening, come to this place, honestly, you won't regret it.”

“Can't recommend Fraser highly enough. Always get an excellent service. He's great with our dog who needed to be socialised properly after lockdown. Gave us some superb tips as to how to handle challenging behaviours, all of which worked a treat. Looking forward to a long working relationship!”

“Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

It's different from all other restaurants I have been to (in the best way possible), and I found it quite refreshing and exciting to try dishes that aren't so common and easily found elsewhere. “Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”

“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”

“What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. “Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

“A bar worth visiting. If you enjoy a great view while you’re sipping on an amazing cocktail, you have to go here. The bartenders know their menu and they’re also extremely nice. We needed no reservation when we went there during a Sunday (midday). There where lots of seats available both inside and outside. One of my favourite parts was the live music, wow!”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”

“I was greeted almost immediately upon entering, by a lovely gentleman who asked me what I was looking for. He spotted my awe in the vast size of the bottom floor. I was given a very warm welcome and felt like a VIP. Chose the stairs as I was not too high up. Amazing place, quite surreal in that despite its size, there is still a personal hospitality from all of the staff, not impersonal. I was blown away.”

“One of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. I have been many times, the atmosphere is superb, service is great and the food is fantastic! The Lobster Thermidor and the Lobster Linguine were fantastic. They have a really nice bar area too! We stay at The Lowery Hotel which is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. Always book in advance.”

“Such good food, many good vegetarian and meat options, the veggie cold meze is lovely and the meat meze super tasty The mains are perfectly sized, the lamb (adana kebab) is cooked to perfection with the flavours seeping throughout the dish, the grilled chicken (pilic kebab) had the perfect charred flavour. The wait staff is so amazing and friendly, she was happy to explain any dish and suggest dishes as well Would definitely recommend if you want an authentic flavour”
