“Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Reception staff are lovely and they offer room service. All of their food is delicious from the restaurant and when delivered to rooms. They have a hot tub as well as a pool (though they don't allow kids in it). Well cleaned, baths and showers are well maintained but you may need to ask for a fan in the summer as the windows don't open fully. Only thing to watch out for (especially for business travellers) is if you require wifi access for more than 1 hour, you have to pay extra.”

“I've never been here before, so I booked a table for Valentine’s Day. Called the restaurant as we were running about 10 minutes late, and that was no issue. Got there and was seated right away. I got a table in the corner, which was nice, and also a red rose on the table for all dinners, nice Valentine’s Day touch. Had a choice of the main menu or special menu, ordered from the main menu. The food came quickly and was really nice. Will definitely go back.”

“We have been to The Glass House several times now and had perfect meals and service. I can thoroughly recommend it.”

“Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

“Coffee is great deep and flavoursome, well made by the owner, who is very friendly, wide selection of drinks and snacks and also doggy drinks and a children's selection, well worth a visit.”

“This was amazing! I would go back again and just order the honey butter rings as they were that good. Great service, lovely, clean restaurant. There was no parking on site but plenty of street parking and a pub next door you can pay to park.”

“This place is THE go to place for great food. Staff are superb and really pleasant. The kebabs are the best around without a doubt. The fish is battered and cooked just right. Overall it is a knock out take away. Highly recommend it.”

“I had heard good things about this place from a friend and as I was travelling home from work my son amd I decided to swing in. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are really lovely and the food was top notch. Needless to say we left feeling very full and happy. They have a number of good deals during the week so doesn't hurt your wallet either. We will see you soon”

“Tried the special (Tomahawk) this time. Magnificent! The lovely waitress remembered I like my steak rare/blue and very tentatively informed us how to get the best out of the meat. STUNNING! They usually sell out of Cheesecake, but I got some tonight and it was WELL worth the wait! How do I give more than 5 stars?”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“Lovely pub, excellent staff and delicious food. The House Burger was THE best one I've had, anywhere! We'll definitely be back here.....in fact we did come back for Sunday dinner....it was soooo tasty. Update: I've lost count of the number of times we've been back here. I've still to find another place that does a better burger than the House Burger....absolutely amazing.”

“Came in today for some snacks after a walk round Worsley. First let me say…. The staff in here never disappoint they’re so welcoming to both me and my children every time I come in. The foods lovely as always, service can’t be faulted. Sat with the children and they come over to see if they’d like any colours and stuff. They speak to you in a friendly manner and the whole atmosphere is so relaxed it’s just a good vibe. We only had snacks today but we often visit and I’ve never had an issue with food. Because my daughter wanted some of the nachos but doesn’t like the sauces they even delivered them separate and then only put cheese on half of them for us - nothings too much trouble. Can’t wait to visit again for a roast!!”

“Lovely place to stop off for a drink. Had a lovely walk through Worsley woods with the dog and stopped off for a pint. The dog was offered the doggy menu and chose ice cream. Extremely friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Doggy friendly too!”

“Excellent venue situated in the heart of Worsley village. Good reasonably priced food and drink options, live entertainment on some Friday nights, open mike night Thursdays and fantastic Sunday roast dinner options with acoustic singer too. Alternatively you could call in fir a coffee and cake(s). Highly recommended.”

“Just had a delicious meal here, we were served by Alison who was lovely! The only complaint would be that a service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill not giving us a chance to leave a her a tip for the great service. Not put us off though and will be returning for further meals.”
