“The food is always good quality, it seems to have become a little bit more expensive than our last visit. £15 a Tandoori Mixed grill, mains around £13 with rice extra. The staff were helpful and attentive and alcohol prices reasonable for a restaurant. Top marks for getting the No Fresh Coriander right and for pointing out that one of the relishes had coriander leaves in it. Prices still the same, so relatively cheaper! Still the same quality and friendly staff.”

“Ok guys you need to check this, it is a restaurant that has food on the go and yeah, the excellent communication with staff is really helpful to order the food. First, excellent communication to ordering the spaghetti carbonara does taste so good and yeah the sauce is creamy The word for metres is really in flavour the spaghetti is cooked the sauce is creamy and also the bacon is really crispy. Then at the end,We order some dessert that is the chocolate fondant that taste so good that the chocolate is really good and yeah, it’s like those Lava cakes I tasted in Hong Kong. The decoration on the dish and, I mean all dishes is amazing. Really enjoyed and you must also. And about the restaurant, the atmosphere and the lighting is amazing and even the stairs are lighted per step. They give out candles at night because it was late or dark enough outside to low the brightness on lights and use the candles. They also have this bar and I mean multiple bars that is literally a wine garden or heaven or whatever but also, the thing I’m looking for in most restaurants are clean toilets and yes, the toilets are clean. You gotta try it out I recommend it very very much.”

“La Scala is ALWAYS the place to go for delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxed environment. The staff always make an extra effort with all of their new and returning guests and always offer a personalised service. I have never had a meal here that has been less than sublime and at a reasonable price too! I could write a novel with the great things I have to say about La Scala but the proof is in the eating... Book a table and enjoy, you will be spoiled when you do!”

“Lovely food - to eat in or take away. Cosy tables so best for smaller groups and got to be quick to get the on street parking but always been able to find a spot. I love the small family feel of it as you can tell everyone cares and is hard working. Very attention staff, (I think it’s the mum) is amazing at shredding the duck, just watch! Would recommend so many things on the menu. Love it here. Busy but not over booked. After moving I still drive over from saddleworth to visit. Thank you for having such a excellent restaurant. “I remember walking past many times as they were fitting out the restaurant and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to visit. What a beautiful venue, really central within a short walk to lots of bars. The food is excellent with plenty to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly and the drinks are great too. Plenty great options to choose from with amazing flavours and although only tapas the portions are generous. We struggled to finish all our food. A really lovely place to visit when in Manchester but make sure you book in advance as it does get rather busy.”

“The goats cheese and King prawn linguine was delicious, on the pre fix menu that is served until 5.30pm. Would recommended pre-booking and asking to sit inside as there was a slight draft in the front seating area. The staff were excellent all evening and couldn't have been better!”

“We have been dining at zing & zest for the past 7 years and can honestly say we enjoy it every time we go. The staff & manager are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their dishes. They will tweak a dish if possible or advise on which you'd enjoy based on your spice tolerance. We've probably tried most of the menu but here are some of our favourites dishes are, Starters - Lamb namkeen boti, chicken chaat puri & spicy hot rods. Mains - Lamb saagwala, Shashlik exotic karahi and Murgh Akbai. We also enjoy the Sunday buffet, which is a bargain! There's a choice of 4 different Starters and 4 different curries (1 is usually tikka masala for the kids) in the hot plates, then you order fresh rice and breads with the waiter when your ready for your main and he'll bring it over. Gives you chance to try dishes you've never had before, we love it. We have introduced many people to zing & zest over the years who have also fell in love with it. It's always our go to place to take friends & family to dine out, as we know we'll be looked after and well fed. Our kids also love it here, it's our daughter 1st choice everytime. We love supporting our local Indian. As our daughter says "Zing & Zest, is the Best!"”

“Ordered a home delivery from them a few weeks ago, which arrived on time and still nice and hot and was delicious. Ate in last night and the place was spotlessly clean, nice decor, tables are well spaced etc. The warm welcome from the staff was really nice and the service was very good; attentive, but not pushy, Josh answered any questions we had about the menu, the food was delivered promptly and there was plenty of it. It felt as though the staff took pride in what they did and Josh in particular was brilliant. Will be going again very soon.”

“Adana kebab was great, both chilli and tzatziki dips were awesome. Ordered mixed grill, which was expertly cooked, lacked some salt for us but that’s authentic Turkish food. Baklava was soft. Everything was home made and great.”

“Service is outstanding as their communication with customer. Soup is Free as a starter and roasted chicken is juicy with decent price. The the end of the meal there is free tea and having with roti just makes it more delicious. Roti is free as many as you can eat but it have have changed.”

“I came here for a private party organised to celebrate my sister in laws marriage. We booked for 42 people. They allowed us to arrive early to set up and we brought cakes which they put in the fridge for us. They asked us when we wanted the food to be served and gave me complimentary tea whilst we were setting up. They catered for our every need and were not too fussed when we didn't finish on time as we were booked until 9. The food was very nice especially the fresh naan. We had starters of chicken leg, fish and kebabs and 3 curries with rice and naan. My extended family are all Asian and they all complimented on the food that it was nice. The only criticism was that the serving dishes they used for the curry and rice were quite small which meant that they kept having to top up the food. The desserts were tea served with gulab jaman and ice cream. I normally don't like gulab Japan but it was warm and very nice as it wasn't too sweet. Would definitely recommend if you want to book a private party as its secluded from the main restaurant. There was also a prayer facilities available upstairs and the toilets were clean.”

“Just around the corner, this place stood out ever since we moved in the area! Great coffee, good food with a lot of options for brunch, lunch and dinner. Very good offerings for veggies too. Lovely atmosphere with some dogs always around! Despite lacking on natural light, it’s a warm, welcoming and pleasant place to be!”

“I do not leave reviews very often but I have to for this one. We came for a Christmas Eve meal in a beautiful setting. From the food all the way down to the service, they go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. Food is bursting with flavour and filling. Had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced here, staff are kind, friendly and fantastic with the children. I cannot fault anything with this restaurant at all. Thanks for a lovely evening. “An ideal place to go with teenage children for a birthday meal. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the food is very good. I like being able to choose my own sauce from the side counter and to top up on soft drinks. We all enjoyed it and the food was reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.”

“A lovely dining in experience. We had a large table with beautiful ceramic plates and glasses serves with ice water. We opted for the mixed grill, kofta, lamb and chicken grilled. It was fantastic and tender, Served on a bed of onions and peppers. They bought in aubergine, chilli and yoghurt sauces as dips and delicious warm bread. We also opted for sujuk which was also really tasty. The food is halal and the staff were really kind and helpful. Highchairs are provided and is a kid friendly restaurant. Highly recommend. A lovely place in Chorlton.”
