Family care in Altrincham

“I’ve just worked out that I’ve been a patient at Altrincham Dental Practice for over 45 years! And I don’t live in the area any longer, but am happy to travel. Surly, this speaks for itself. The Practice has evolved over the years. But the service remains the same, namely consistently very good and the team are always very caring. I decided to write this post today, as I had a slight pain in my gum yesterday evening and I noticed that a crown had become lose. I phoned the surgery this morning and an appointment was scheduled for early afternoon. All sorted. Now that’s good service! Thanks to Dr Hashim and the team!”

“I hadn't been to the dentist for a while and was putting it off. I needed a root canal quick (one week before my wedding!) and Bob and the team at Butterfly were fantastic. They talked me through everything clearly and I wish I'd done it sooner. All the staff are amazingly friendly. Couldn't recommend more.”

“Recently had 10 Composite Veneers with Doctor Lowri Hanna - from start to finish Lowri listened to every concern and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. The attention to detail is next to none and I can’t begin to thank her enough for my new smile - it’s always been my biggest insecurity but not any more! Thanks to the team including the dental nurse Caitlin who was lovely as well as Niall on the desk who was so personable - making sure I was ok at all times! “I cannot recommend Barrington Dental Care highly enough! Monder Zbaeda sets the highest of standards for the practice which runs through the entire team. My experience with Barrington is in regards to dental implants. I have had this work completed over a period of years so that my employee dental plan could be accommodated. The work was completed and I was delighted with the outcome until encountering a few issues with the crowns. It is my opinion that the true test of any business is how they deal with their customers when an issue needs to dealt with or concerns rectified. In this case Monder stood up to the challenge and i cannot commend him and his team highly enough. Excellent understanding, outstanding dental skill, superb care and exceptional flexibility to ensure 100% patient satisfaction was achieved. Well done Monder, Lisa and team for taking ownership of my dental care and securing me as a true advocate of Barrington!!”

“Is it the pasta or the sauce? Set aside any fears of school dinner Mac and cheese, Sugo is on a different level altogether. Having lucked out on getting a table after 2 years of living nearby, I relished the chance to review them. The space is warm but snug. Large parties will struggle especially with COVID restrictions. Not an issue in summer, but a possible one in Winter. They’re dog friendly as they have some seating outside, so please specify this when booking. Onto the primi piatti! Expect luscious pasta cooked to the correct side of al dente. It seems to inhale the sauces that make use of the starch and premium stock in lieu of cream. All making for a far more palatable meal. And the sauce. The term does not do the flavours and texture justice. The melange of spices and components be they vegetarian or not, are sublime. Just a taste of the seafood pasta alone conveyed everything in one bite. Not to be outdone, their beverage selection is nothing short of brilliant. The chinotto brought back fond memories of Kinni cola. Sadly I did not have time to partake of dolce but will endeavour to do so next time.”

“I wouldn’t leaving my cats and dogs anywhere else when I go away. My mind is always put at ease as I know they get the best treatment and love seeing what they get up to on their stay.”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“Me and my partner and my son and his girlfriend and niece and mother in law had a lovely meal as a family in our favourite restaurant doubletree, the guy’s who work there were wonderful as they always are, lovely food and would highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Both my daughter's have attended Kids Allowed Altrincham and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere who will love and care for your child like their own. To help them learn and develop, to have fun and make friends, to grow up in a safe friendly caring environment who look after both child and parent and would go out of there way to help in anyway possible. I could write an essay on the facilities , the staff, the wellbeing , the food , the benefits you get at this place but I have not enough room - go and see for your self .”

“Highly commended on all fronts. A really nicely presented shop with a small seating area, really lovely and helpful staff. And the food was all excellent. We tried some goat curry, the chicken, a dumpling, rice with peas and a lovely fresh salad. All really tasty and fresh. Sorry, no pictures this time but we will definitely be back!”

“Both of my boys are at Juice and it is a happy, caring and warm environment and they really enjoy coming to nursery. My eldest boy has some special needs and they have been fantastically supportive with this. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It is true that parking is sometimes an issue but as a previous reviewer has said it is difficult to see what the nursery can realistically do about the small minority of parents who do not park considerately. Most of the time parking is fine and I can honestly say I have not had any serious problem in four years of parking there twice a day (not using residents' spaces I might add).”

“I cannot recommend Emma and Cohen Filippini enough. Emma came highly recommended by a number of friends in Manchester and Cheshire and so we engaged her with our sale and purchase.
