“Great cinema, probably one of the best I’ve been to. Went to see John Wick and the price was very good. What made it was the spacious & comfortable reclining leather seats, large drinks holder trays which fit my drinks, snacks and handbag! It was so comfortable I even took my shoes off and got super cosy. You can also get alcoholic beverages to take into the theatre! I’ve never seen this before so it was a nice added touch. Would recommended.”

“Had a great evening here with a large group of colleagues. The restaurant was very accommodating of our large group (30 people) and we had a great evening here. The 4 course meal was a lot of fun and it was the perfect amount of food. I would absolutely recommend this place for dinner dates and corporate events.”

“Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

“Honestly amazing and will make you want to return. Food sizes are brilliant. They also cater for halal eaters. Don’t order extra chips, there’s that much on one plate! Lovely customer service. Gloves given to avoid messiness. Just not a fan of how open the windows are with the public walking by watching as we eat haha. But overall it’s definitely a place where the family want to go to. “Booked hotel through Secret Escapes for 2 nights.... more than exceeded our expectations. Friendly reception staff member on arrival together with concierge who took our luggage to our room . Lovely Riverside superior room spacious with all usual amenities. A very nice breakfast widechoice generous portions of food....again friendly service from restaurant staff. Great location short walk into centre of Manchester.. Well recommended.”

“A bar worth visiting. If you enjoy a great view while you’re sipping on an amazing cocktail, you have to go here. The bartenders know their menu and they’re also extremely nice. We needed no reservation when we went there during a Sunday (midday). There where lots of seats available both inside and outside. One of my favourite parts was the live music, wow!”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”

“I was greeted almost immediately upon entering, by a lovely gentleman who asked me what I was looking for. He spotted my awe in the vast size of the bottom floor. I was given a very warm welcome and felt like a VIP. Chose the stairs as I was not too high up. Amazing place, quite surreal in that despite its size, there is still a personal hospitality from all of the staff, not impersonal. I was blown away.”

“Just returned from a 2 night break and planning when to go again. First time in a wheelchair staff couldnt do enough to help. All staff shared in with a laugh and were so friendly. “Such good food, many good vegetarian and meat options, the veggie cold meze is lovely and the meat meze super tasty The mains are perfectly sized, the lamb (adana kebab) is cooked to perfection with the flavours seeping throughout the dish, the grilled chicken (pilic kebab) had the perfect charred flavour. The wait staff is so amazing and friendly, she was happy to explain any dish and suggest dishes as well Would definitely recommend if you want an authentic flavour”
