“What can I say? Incredible doesn't quite cover it. My niece and I went yesterday as a treat for her 30th birthday. We were greeted with a smile, the door opened for us, and promptly taken up to homage on the mezzanine level above the glorious and very impressive restaurant. We were seated in the most exquisite room, and both felt very special indeed. Our jackets were taken and hung, the menu's described to us. We each ordered a cocktail to start, and these were delicious . Amy had the special cocktail of the day which was aptly called lovely lady ( very fitting for my niece) and I really wanted something with an almond flavour, so one was created for me, very impressive. We then ordered our cheeses, 3 to start, and we paired these with wine. We followed this with even more of the extensive cheese selection. Again paired with wine. Each cheese has a chutney alongside it to pair with the flavour of the cheese. Some little bread roll, and some biscuits that basically melted in your mouth. I even had a dessert which was incredible, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of this, but it was a little like a creme brulle, with tonka bean flavour ( similar to vanilla) it had the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The room we were in was absolute luxury. There was relaxing background music, candlelight everywhere, very comfortable chairs, an extremely intimate feeling to it. We literally had the room to ourselves which made it feel even more special. The bathroom is situated on the same floor which is great. Last but by no means least , Michael was our incredible host, very knowledgeable about every wine and cheese, extremely professional, attentive and I would say an absolute asset to Wood. Thank you Michael for making our visit so memorable and special. I would highly recommend homage at Wood. You will not be disappointed.”

We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “What a great place! Boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat before our train back, slightly worried about time and this place was perfect! Pizzas came within a couple minutes of ordering and we're absolutely delicious, wish they were cut but this wasn't a big issue. The vibe from the place was great slightly modern and rustic, staff were so lovely and welcoming it was a great experience. Especially loved the dips you could get on the side as my favourite topping is pesto - you rarely see the option anywhere! Definitely going again when I go to Manchester. To top it off, the sorbets were so refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal 10/10.”

“I've been ordering from here for just over a year. So this review isn't based on one meal. I've never seen a single order dip in quality. Every time has been consistent. The food we order is definitely value for the money and I have not had any issues with lateness. I will continue to use this place.”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“Amazing place for the whole family grab some food in the restaurant starting with meatballs and chips that are one of a kind. Through the maze of awesome products and in the end at the warehouse if you and your kids want to misbehave you can ride on top of the flatbed trolleys. In conclusion IKEA Manchester is the place to be for shopping and a way to have a nice day out.”

“Dominos is a good go to pizza takeaway. It's a bit pricey unless you do the deals. This was just a £6.99 medium 2 toppings pizza. Very tasty pizzas and lovely staff at this branch.”

“Best Chinese I’ve had in a bloody long time!!!!! Salt and pepper chips are beautiful and over not seasoned! Frozen food are good and tasty but their fresh wok made food is beautiful. Got a dry chicken chow mein spicy and it was so goooood. The staff are so friendly and have good customer service. You’ve got to try here!!!!”
