“Vibes: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Great conversations with even more excellent food; what more can you ask for? This food place has single-handedly restored my and my partner's faith in local takeaways! We originally came in out of curiosity but will be returning for the quality. We got the Chicken Taco'o with their burger mayo and Algerian sauce, and oh mon dieu, was it amazing. The only grievance we have is that we didn't get more of it! If you want to start your day right, boost your day, or end your evening, come to this place, honestly, you won't regret it.”

“Can't recommend Fraser highly enough. Always get an excellent service. He's great with our dog who needed to be socialised properly after lockdown. Gave us some superb tips as to how to handle challenging behaviours, all of which worked a treat. Looking forward to a long working relationship!”

“Manchester has a new authentic Italian restaurant in the form of Capri’s Cucina Italiana on King Street - it’s a family owned restaurant that provides true quality with the freshest of ingredients The flavours were absolutely delicious and our favourites were the baked aubergine & potato gnocchi. Not forgetting the nutty chocolates they make in-house that were the beautiful ending that we didn’t need and thoroughly enjoyed”

“I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”

“Food is immaculately good. We enjoyed a three course meal at Dishoom. The variety of food is great for Vegetarian and Vegans too. The unlimited tea lasts until 5pm Although, service is slow the food makes up for it. It was unbelievably hot on the day we visited, the air-conditioning was not on.”

“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. “What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. “The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.”

“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”

“Gorgeous food, staff and ambience. I lived in HK for a while and have really missed milk tea, ginger coke and all the staples. This is the best and most authentic food I've had for years (even in HK) , I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a Michelin star at some point. We had the French Toast, Typhoon Pork and Egg Fried rice and it was just amazing! I've only had food this good in super posh places in HK so I hope Broughton knows how lucky it is :). Lovely vibes, great music, lots of light and nice and chilled. I also love that you can choose from sharing dishes, snacks and specials at reasonable prices. An absolute gem, I will definitely be back to try all the other dishes!”
