Soul & Surf Mcr
● Open“This was such a good meal and they gave a really good portion. I ate half and left the rest for the next day. I had the cajun salmon, mac n cheese, plantain, cole slaw and steamed vegetables. They threw in some shrimp for me and it was all divine. I particular liked that the mac n cheese was not from the box but made from scratch. Although I took my food to go, the restaurant is a cozy little spot to eat and chill and I would definitely visit next time I'm in Manchester!”

The Cotton House
● Open“I went for the first time last night with my wife, we had been meaning to go for a while and were not disappointed. The manager chatted to use for a while and made us feel very welcome so thank you (sorry I didn’t catch your name). My wife had a couple of cocktails which she enjoyed very much and I sampled a German lager I had never heard of but it was spot on. The place is very well presented and perfect for those who want somewhere a bit extra for a drink, next time we will try the food as the menu looked great. Nice to see a great building being put back into a good use. EDIT: We have just been back and tried the food. As you can see I review the odd place here and there but this was up there in my top 5 meals ever bought. It was tremendous from start to finish, I eat until I could eat no more. Staff were brilliant once again and service was excellent. Thank you all so much.”

Candolim Restaurant
● Open“We had a lovely evening here when visiting a friend Living in Staylbridge, living in Spain Asian food can be hit and miss here, however the food here was first class and the staff looked after us really well, giving us advice on different dishes. They also look so smart in the dress. We will certainly visit again when next in the UK.”
-
Maha Indian Cuisine
● Open“Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only let down is the size of the restaurant and the difficulty of fitting large groups in i.e. 12 or more. The tables have to be situated around a pillar that splits the group up and makes it difficult to get out from the table to get to the toilet. But if you are only a small group or a couple then you won't have any of the seating issues. All in all a really nice place with great food and a pleasant atmosphere.”

Masuma Express
● Open“I’ve been advised not to get Indian food from up north as the taste just isn’t it, however, I still decided to go ahead and order from here. Got a chicken biryani and lamb biryani both with madras sauces. The food was perfect, we all enjoyed it and portions were great too. One thing I would advise is putting your prices up, it’s too cheap for what it is and especially your just eat and uber menu. They need to be 30% higher to make up for the fees they take! Inshallah you do well, will come back to have this again when I come up north.”

Albion Farm Shop & Cafe
● Closed“Come for the views, stay for the burger. We went for lunch on a nice Saturday. The views are amazing and the food was even better. We ordered the cheesy cow burger and it was outstanding. The cheese and onion fritter just oozed melted cheese. The beef is top quality. Absolutely stuffed. Had some superb ice cream after. Rum & Raisin and espresso for me, chocolate for my wife. Will definitely be back.”

Bun & Bones Club
● Open45-47 London Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport SK7 4AW, United Kingdom“There are 5 great great burger places in England I’ve tried… Almost Famous, Slap & Pickles, Fat Hippo, Burger & Beyond and this place… and I’d argue this place (along with Slap & Pickles) are the best.. Menu is a whole load of fun, they always have great specials and the sides and chicken are great too… it’s only a small place so there isn’t a whole load of space but I quite like that about it!! Feel like a bit of a tucked away American diner!!! Honestly - get yourself here… you won’t be disappointed!! You’ll be very full… but deffo not disappointed!! :)”

Napoli Cafe
● Closed“Absolutely hidden gem cafe in Stockport with good price. All the food source from the best in local farms. My son Luke loves the sausages so much and so am I. The other favorite is the mushroom soup, fresh made and creamy. If you want some dessert, I would highly recommend the Victoria sponge and fresh made pancake.”
-
