I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hilltop Country House - there is a reason it has been voted the best wedding venue in Cheshire!”

“We had the all inclusive wedding package at Wincham Hall, it took the pressures away of having to find our own florist, photographer, cake and car. Each of the suppliers they provided were amazing and provided a excellent service. The wedding day at Wincham Hall went perfect and everything went so smoothly. Not a thing I would of changed! We were introduced to Joseph who took the time to show us some rings, all exceptional quality, but not what I had in mind, so he suggested he could design and make the ring of my choice. So impressed that we then bought earrings for valentines day. “I contacted Chelsea Flowers in Wilmslow for my mother whose brother had passed away and we wanted to order flowers from his family in Australia. We are all Scottish and so mum really wanted authentic Scottish Thistles and a wild countryside look to the Spray. Kat who worked there provided some great options but alas no real thistles were available from the markets...so using her initiative she mentioned that where she went running there maybe some wild thistles and she would check. Indeed she found some when nobody else could and managed to arrange them beautifully with passion and flare, not to mention personally delivering them for us. My mother and family delighted and they did us proud on the day of the service. Huge thank you 'above and beyond' and stunning arrangement at that. Shirley”

He will not let you leave that seat until you’re happy with your hair and he’s content with his cut. “We stopped off here on the way home for food. They was amazing and very accommodating to us and our children. Our two kids are not the quietest but they was amazing here. They was given a little colour sheet and crayons. The food was amazing and very filling. The prices for us all to have starters, mains and desserts with a drink came under £100 which I thought was amazing!. Definitely want to return here but just with my husband.”

“Stayed for two nights as part of the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner package. Staff were excellent. Signature room we stayed in was very comfortable and modern. Food at breakfast, dinner and the NYE dinner all really excellent indeed. Nice temperature in the swimming pool and even nicer in the outdoor hot tub! Can't really fault this place and so would highly recommend a stay here.”

“Just been in for a daddy daughter date for lunch. Staff are amazing and friendly. They are working so hard today in this heat. Big thank you to the chef great steak and chicken cooked perfect to medium rare. I would not enjoy working in a kitchen today. Would always recommend you all.”

“Played Mottram Hall today and felt compelled to leave a good review. The course was awesome. Nice wide fairways with plenty of features and character. Interesting greens with tricky pin placements and lots of bunkers to catch you out. The course was in really good condition. I have played a few courses in the area and so far Mottram is my favourite. And it’s long, so plenty of opportunities to use the driver and fairway woods. We paid £25 each for a twilight round mid-week which is an absolute bargain.”

“My family went here for dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. We had a 3 year old in tow too. The service was excellent and the food arrived in a reasonable time. It was hot and tasty. The sharing platters are devine! The extra care and attention given to our 3 year old was great and she enjoyed the experience as much as we did. Very highly recommended for a family meal out.”

“Enjoyed a two night stay at the coachman. We were met on our arrival by Lyn the new landlady. Both she and her staff were very friendly . Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent cooked breakfast provided on both days. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also tried the new Thai menu one evening which was also very good. Lyn has worked hard to turn around the pub,after it's previous owner had let standards slip. Well done Lyn and your team.”
