Delicious meat in Manchester

“We had our celebratory wedding meal here last summer and could not thank Manish and the team enough for there fantastic hospitality and flexibility. They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. Thank you Manish and your team for helping to make our wedding day so special.”

“When Eastern Revive opened in Knutsford, it quickly became a local’s favourite and a place where I always try and take visitors. Anyone who thinks they have a good curry house in their town, has never been to Eastern Revive. The place is now legendary in Bessenbach, Germany where it is the number one sight-seeing place to go for my German colleagues who come over regularly. Great portion sizes, authentic delicious food, lovely staff, Fish Nariyal is to die for (and I really am not a fish person, so if you are a Chicken Tikka Masala only person, give it a go!). A++ Go there, you wont regret it.”

“Modern Thai restaurant. This is much better than the Try Thai in city center. The Singha beer is a beer from Thailand, must try one. Fresh to eat prawn is more less the same as the taste I tried in Bangkok. Pineapple fried rice is good, but the portion is a bit small unfortunately same for Pha Thai (remember to ask for less auger otherwise will be a little bit too sweet) The desert is mango with sticky rice, very classic Thai desert. But the mango is not as sweet as those in Thailand, but I believe cannot compare in that way. Overall, I will give a 4.5 stars (minus 0.5 for too few staff to serve too many tables).”

“The food here is amazing. The 8oz fillet steak, flambe, was so tasty and well cooked served with great sides, for a very reasonable price The malbec was a great choice to pair with it. I had meatballs as a starter and while undeniably delicious, itwas maybe a little over sweet. The staff were friendly, quick and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed maybe a different choice in music would have suited the decor. That aside, truly worth 5 stars”

“If you love authentic Italian cuisine then you must try Salvis. After returning from Italy I have always been on the hunt for great authentic Italian food and Salvis did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was fantastic. Can't recommend enough!”

I highly recommend them and I’ll be going there whenever I want my favourite Chinese dishes. Five stars isn’t enough as far as I’m concerned.”

“Usually I have the beef curry but decided to try something different. We’ve been coming here since I was a child. How did I not ever think to try the beef satay & noodles? Absolutely beautiful! If I could give it more stars I would. Proper chips. Gorgeous sauce. Soft lovely noodles. If you keep serving up that you’ll make me fat!”

“Recently moved to the area and been struggling to find a good Chinese takeaway. Noticed that there always seems to be people in here so thought we would give it go and was not left disappointed. The food was delicious, delivered in good time,hot and reasonably priced. Only criticism would be the prawn toast could do with being a bit crisper for my taste”

“We ordered from the Valentine's set menu and it was great. Chipotle chicken to start with, followed by sirloin steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The food was lovely. Ordered my steak medium well and it came more on the medium side but it was rectified. The strawberry twist drink is a must for the non drinkers! Our waitress was superb. She was attentive, polite, engaged in conversation with us and overall amazing at her job. This is why we return to Wilmslow.”

“I remember walking past many times as they were fitting out the restaurant and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to visit. What a beautiful venue, really central within a short walk to lots of bars. The food is excellent with plenty to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly and the drinks are great too. Plenty great options to choose from with amazing flavours and although only tapas the portions are generous. We struggled to finish all our food. A really lovely place to visit when in Manchester but make sure you book in advance as it does get rather busy.”

“The goats cheese and King prawn linguine was delicious, on the pre fix menu that is served until 5.30pm. Would recommended pre-booking and asking to sit inside as there was a slight draft in the front seating area. The staff were excellent all evening and couldn't have been better!”

“Great Pub. Robinson's beers. Quiz night on Monday night. Open mike night on a Thursday. Pie night last Friday of the month. Also have a function room for hire. British Motorcycle Preservation Society meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in the function room. All welcome whether you have a British bike or not, or are interested in older British Motorcycles. Our aim is to keep these bikes on the road. Plenty of people available to give advice and assistance.”

“Lots of good covid safety measures. Really nice staff. Remember to look up the things you want online and have your references ready or your order number ready, this makes it quicker and easier to collect the things which you have bought. It's almost the equivalent of Argos- but for DIY. It was our first visit and we didn't realise that you couldn't look around the store. We thought it was going to be like B&Q. Basically, you order things and then you go and pick them up at the counter. The staff they were really lovely and still enabled us to order the things we required.”

“They need to sort out the lack of baskets as you come in the door the last 20 times I've been in there have been no hand baskets at the door like any major supermarket would have. Change the layout of the stock as the BnQ/homebase hybrid style-mixed household item section they have in the middle is not great. Move the freezer section to the middle lower rear half aisles and place the messy jumble sale goods in the back corner. They need to extend outwards, (onto the garden plant display area) , the countertop section at the side window by 20ft at least. This will create space to get self service express lanes sorted with 1 staff member at the end always to provide assistance and to monitor. other than that its a great place to shop lol.”

“Unpretentious pub favourites done very, very well! Corned Beef Hash was delicious, and the Steak & Kidney pudding generously filled with large chunks of steak. Gravy was amazing and the most perfect, crisp but fluffy chips I think I've ever had in a pub. Sticky Toffee Pudding was the ideal size, beautifully presented and not at all stodgy (as can so often be the case). Creamy vanilla custard was the ideal accompaniment.”
