“We decided to take a chance & come here for a bite to eat before we were going to the Theatre. We were tempted in by their 50% off food during January. Best decision of the night, we will definitely be going back here. It is a big place and when we got there at 5pm, there were plenty of tables. 2 hours later, it was busy. All the staff are amazing, especially Thomas & Monica. We had the ribs, Beef brisket sandwich and the Big burger. I also had one of the cocktails too. The service is fantastic, friendly & quick. The food and drink was delicious. As we were celebrating a special occasion, Thomas, Monica and the others made sure that it was extra special and a night to remember. I was bowled over by their kindness. It is a place were I will definitely go for food when I'm in town again. I have a feeling that it is also going to be a favourite for my 22 year old son, girlfriend & friends to go for drinks too as it is especially appealing to their age group too.”

“What's not to like. Delightful experience. Incredibly friendly owners and the most delicious rice and 3. Lamb intensely flavoured and spiced. Soft naans and a perfect chicken tikka salad. No longer local. But will return when visiting family?”

“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”

“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “We had a fantastic meal at the Old Wellington, loved it! We booked a table on the day but they had plenty of space for dining. Our server, Tina, was fantastic, really attentive and cared that we had a great experience (she even double checked our beers were ok as we can some from the bottom of the barrel, replaced with no hesitation). The food (Ocean fish and chips, burger, fish platter and landlords platter) were all fantastic - really good value for a fantastic time. Highly recommend!”

“The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.”
