“This was our first visit to the Bengal Curry Pot, so it had to be right because we were celebrating a birthday. From stepping into the premises we were greeted with smiling faces and very attentive staff. This was a surprisingly large dining area, with spacious comfortable seating. A selection of tasteful Bollywood music created a perfect atmosphere. The food was indeed excellent as was the service. The cost was very reasonable. We will be returning.”

“Excellent, The new owner has made a number of improvements to an old established business. The original Cinnamon Tree was a good old style Bengali take away offering traditional food. The new owners have kept the old recipes but added a modern flavor , excellent service, good communication , and genuine courtesy with a genuine smile to add ! . Cinnamon Tree Indian food and Burgers, Wraps and much more are located on Shaw Road Oldham just before the IMO car wash . There is ample parking next door and a delivery service if needed..”

Food it's self is always perfectly done, definitely one of the best kebabs in Oldham and the chips are always piping. Highly recommend using this place as your go to takeaway, I know I will be.”

“This has to be the most authentic Indian Food place in all of Manchester. The owner is actually from Lucknow, India. She makes great Veg as well as Non-Veg dishes. Try their Chicken Curry with rice, or Chicken Biryani, plain old Rajma Chawal or straight up Aloo Paratha. Everything is authentic and the real taste of India.”

“I’ve been advised not to get Indian food from up north as the taste just isn’t it, however, I still decided to go ahead and order from here. Got a chicken biryani and lamb biryani both with madras sauces. The food was perfect, we all enjoyed it and portions were great too. One thing I would advise is putting your prices up, it’s too cheap for what it is and especially your just eat and uber menu. They need to be 30% higher to make up for the fees they take! Inshallah you do well, will come back to have this again when I come up north.”

Everyone was at ease the moment we walked in, were really looked after, and were entertained from beginning to end. Nothing was too much. We had three course meals, and as a party of 50, I’m pleased to say that everyone’s culinary needs were deliciously met to perfection. We had some people with quite specific dietary needs; gluten free, and vegan to be specific. Nothing was too much and they loved it. “My husband and I were looking for somewhere a little bit special for our last date night before our first baby arrives in the next few weeks, and I found Khau Galli online. We booked a VIP Pod, and had such a wonderful evening! The food was incredible, the staff and service were brilliant, and the whole unique dining experience in the pod was fantastic. There was even an Alexa in each pod so you can have whatever music playing that you like, which was a lovely bonus touch. We’ll definitely be going back again in the future, and I highly recommend it to anyone!”

“We have been dining at zing & zest for the past 7 years and can honestly say we enjoy it every time we go. The staff & manager are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their dishes. They will tweak a dish if possible or advise on which you'd enjoy based on your spice tolerance. We've probably tried most of the menu but here are some of our favourites dishes are, Starters - Lamb namkeen boti, chicken chaat puri & spicy hot rods. Mains - Lamb saagwala, Shashlik exotic karahi and Murgh Akbai. We also enjoy the Sunday buffet, which is a bargain! There's a choice of 4 different Starters and 4 different curries (1 is usually tikka masala for the kids) in the hot plates, then you order fresh rice and breads with the waiter when your ready for your main and he'll bring it over. Gives you chance to try dishes you've never had before, we love it. We have introduced many people to zing & zest over the years who have also fell in love with it. It's always our go to place to take friends & family to dine out, as we know we'll be looked after and well fed. Our kids also love it here, it's our daughter 1st choice everytime. We love supporting our local Indian. As our daughter says "Zing & Zest, is the Best!"”
