TOKYO RAMEN MANCHESTER
● Closed55 Church Street, Manchester M4 1PD, United Kingdom“This was my second visit, and this time I decided to try the Kinoko Ramen. Even though it only contained veggies, the broth was rich and scrumptious. The shiitake mushrooms and tomatoes were not just cooked in the soup but also marinated and grilled, which add intensity and complexity to the flavor. Overall, I have no regrets about coming back to this restaurant and I am already hyped to go again.”

Corn Exchange Manchester
● Closed“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

Franco Manca Manchester - Piccadilly Gardens
● Closed“What a great place! Boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat before our train back, slightly worried about time and this place was perfect! Pizzas came within a couple minutes of ordering and we're absolutely delicious, wish they were cut but this wasn't a big issue. The vibe from the place was great slightly modern and rustic, staff were so lovely and welcoming it was a great experience. Especially loved the dips you could get on the side as my favourite topping is pesto - you rarely see the option anywhere! Definitely going again when I go to Manchester. To top it off, the sorbets were so refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal 10/10.”

Very friendly and polite staff. And service was fast as well. No dedicated parking”

Traditional Fruit & Veg
● Closed12 Church Street, Manchester M4 1PN, United Kingdom“Smashing little fruit and veg stall, with much less plastic than the surrounding traditional supermarkets. Also a great place to just buy what you need. Why buy a prepackaged bag of six tomatoes when you only need two? Staff are helpful when you need advice or can't find something and they have some unusual veg that's hard to find in other places.”

Scottish Steakhouse at Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa
● ClosedPiccadilly, Manchester M1 2PG, United Kingdom“I didn’t have high hopes for this place after reading some of the reviews posted here. However, we booked it as part of a ‘Date Night’ package with the Macdonald Hotel and I have to say I was actually very impressed with both the food and the service. I ordered fish and chips and my husband ordered the burger. My fish and chips was possibly the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant - perfectly cooked fish with the chunkiest chips I’ve ever seen! It came with a generous dollop of tartare sauce which was absolutely delicious. My husband’s burger also looked yummy - a proper thick juicy burger, well garnished and with a decent portion of fries. The waiting staff who served us were very polite and efficient too. I don’t think there’s anything I could find fault with. If I had to be picky about anything I’d say the air conditioning was possibly a bit on the chilly side but it didn’t make our evening any less enjoyable.”
