“Absolutely a hidden gem. Stellar coffee, cozy welcoming place to come on your own and read or write.”
Neptune Urmston Fish Bar
“What an excellent chippy located across from the hospital.tge sausage and chips were absolutely door on and worth every penny.its a shame it's normally too out of the way for me.definately will visit again the next time I'm passing.tge staff are also very friendly.”
Castle In The Air - JD Wetherspoon
“This was a fantastic pub to visit, having a glorious design persisting on the walls, ceiling and counter! The lights and the silver design at the counter are beautiful too, where a marvellous dark layout is utilized. I sat at a comfortable seat next to artwork frames, enjoying a refreshing drink after quick service and the area was clean!”
Cafe Bistro 122
“I found myself back in Davyhulme, and had another breakfast and pot of tea. Once again, everything was perfect. Great food and wonderful staff”
Riverbank Coffee Ltd
“Love coming here. My dog loves the walk and meeting her own kind. The hot chocolate us amazing, and the hone made sausage rolls are out of this world. Been here twice this week. Can't stay away. Could do with a toilet though.”
Sarah’s Yard
“Visited Sarah's Yard this evening - Food was honestly incredible. We had a lovely Greek meze, so tasty as often they can be bland when ordered elsewhere. Sally was the main person who we spoke to, she was so lovely and personable. We will definitely return and have already recommended to our friends.”

Betty & Dolly's Sandwich Bar & Tea Room
“This is such a wonderful coffee shop and cafe. The guys that run this place are absolutely amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble. All foods can be tailored to your needs, you only need to ask and they will go above and beyond to make your visit a pleasant one, whether it's just for a quick coffee or a hearty meal. It's fun, it's quirky and it's vibrant. It's animal friendly and there's also a lovely little outdoor area to dine. An absolutely wonderful little community gem.”
Poppies Coffee Shop
“Lovely local coffee shop with excellent and friendly service. Under new management that will continue the good reputation. Highly recommended”
Yummy
“First time with Yummy, great food, Salt and Pepper were delicious, as was the rest of the food. Certainly be back.”
Bevano Lounge
“Had a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff were really pleasant. The tables are set over two floors, so there was plenty of room. However, disabled customers would be better on the ground floor, providing the toilet wasn't required, which was up a flight of stairs. Sadly I saw no lift. Whilst there was little on the menu that caught our taste buds, we did select three different side dishes to create our own meal. The staff had no problem with our choices and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Nice place, would recommend.”
Lucys
“Go to Lucy often great meal all the time staff spot on.brillent service.been on Moorside Road for a long time speaks for it self”
The Roebuck
“Lovely place, much improved on the previous set up. I went there yesterday for a wake and the staff were very friendly and helpful and considerate of why we were there. The place seems more like a pub again than the restaurant it became after it burned down, the food we had was very good and buying drinks didn't break the bank either.”
Papa Johns Pizza
“First ever papa johns for me today. Lovely pizza tasted fresh and great texture. Easy ordering, made super fast. Collected in person from professional super friendly staff.”
Costa Coffee
“Friendly, efficient staff, really nice atmosphere, the limited edition kitkat hot chocolate is epic, have never had that much whipped cream on top of one before, amazing. If it's busy downstairs, check upstairs as there's plenty of seats up there, and you get a good view of the square out of the windows.”
Bent Brook
“Recieved a lovely warm welcome in this busy friendly pub. Staff all very attentive even though working hard to keep up with service. Food was lovely, well presented, great portions and tasty too. Will definitely be back.”

“I have been to a fair share of takeaways, and definately have to say this is the best by far. I have been a regular customer for years. Great service and value for money and the staff are really friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more!”
